Bad News

Morning kids...does it seem to you that every, and I do mean every, newscast on the boob tube is of BAD NEWS!...you have to look long and hard to find something positive...think of CBS's Sunday Morning...and that's it...and it doesn't stop there...every, and yup, every, newspaper does the same...all negative crap...who killed who, who was arrested, this country did that, who banged who, the weather did this, the republicans said this, the demos said that, and on and on...repetitive bs...

And try that on for size...a big good morning to you all...ha ha...Coach Pop of the SA Spurs showed why he was considered one of the best in the biz...as they pick and rolled the defenseless Blazers to a humongous lead...and coasted to a W...you do know I use W and V interchangeably, right?...will be a short series...

Every team that plays the Pads have their throwers pitch their best of their careers...meek hitting by SD...ho hum...this time it's KC...dang, I have to say something negative...why on earth, would the Padre manager not bunt our guy over in the bottom of the 10th?...first guy singled...and we are looking for a run to win...just ONE run...and he refuses...the batter strikes out...the next guy hits into a double play...inning over...the Royals score 2 in the 11th and voila...

I took the Lexus into my fav stereo shop in Kearney Mesa...to get the iPhone carrier moved from the dash and into a hidden bluetooth...and then repair the dash back to near perfection...and we have a shop owner that you WANT to have...told me he didn't like the job that his 1st guy did...asked if he could have the rig an extra day to get it right...well, we picked it up yesterday, and it looks mahvelous...

Monica...yup, that one...who got so much unwanted fame for her dalliance with the then Prez...Slick Willy...gosh, sorry...this seems so silly...is publishing her side of the story, via a book...and it coincides with Hillary's onslaught of info as she launches her bid for Prez, herself...WTF?...enough already...give Mo her life back people...and let her go on and...be a normal person...lordy, if we talked about all the stars that have done the same...well, you know...I'm pulling for her...

You a stock market person?...I keep talking about my lack of understanding of it...even though I have $ in it...I just trust my man Jon...the $ man...hope you DON"T have any in Twitter...as that stock has lost way more than half...I have $ in Starbucks, Alaska, Southwest, Coke, Apple...amongst others...check those out, kids...diversify...I am told...

Have you put together an Aretha Franklin album yet?...like her hits...I keep a telling you...it will be worth the effort...you use iTunes?...or you can just buy an already done CD...she has one that is her top 30...well worth the $14...absolutely lurve her...

PGA...remember when...it was Tiger and then everyone else?...now, it's everyone else and then Tiger...try picking one guy to win the Players this week...have NO clue...

The NFL draft is tomorrow...and the GOOD news around here, is...that we are looking at a corner...pick like 25th...sounds not so good...but that means nuttin honey...you get real good players through at least the 4th or 5th round...

Golden St unloaded their coach, Mark Jackson...there must be more to the story...right?...as he did a great job with the blokes he had...I think he actually changed the way the pro's play the game...with their sets including the 3 ball more than anyone else...made the other "coaches" use it more often than ever...he WILL be picked up by someone else soon...I like him and his style...

Hoop's trivia...the US beat Canada in the Summer Olympics...in Hitler's 1936 games...OUTSIDE in the pouring rain...the score was 19-8...now my friends, that's GOOD defense...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
