Real Family Spat

Occasionally Crazy Horse touches a nerve...a very hot topic for many conservatives...enough for a couple of people to say that they would never read my blog again...what?...well, they told me so on Facebook...and yup, they were gone, baby, gone...and I have been a naysayer about the former VP, Evil Dick Cheney...for a gaggle of reasons...his behind the scene maneuvering of this country through the Iraq Debacle...and his involvement in the country's other police force abroad, Haliburton run...mercenaries...the list goes on and on...and now...again...his view on same sex marriage...

He has had to skirt the issue for some time...because...he has  a daughter that is Lesbian...and got married...and he came on strong forever, as an opponent of such a thing...and then changed his opinion...and said he welcomed the new addition to their family...hey, this is a private thing...and good for him and them...BUT...politics has got in the way...

He has another daughter...straight...and is running for the US Senate in Wyoming...and guess what?...she is NOT an advocate for same sex marriage...oh my...imagine the Thanksgiving meal...at the Cheney Home...his stance?...well my good friends, right in the middle...just like a politician...

Looks like I am taking sides on the issue...this out of Pennsylvania...there is this United Methodist Minister...Rev Frank Schaefer...who just happens to have a gay son...and he wed in Massachusetts...back in 2007...officiated by his father, Rev Schaefer...guess what?...the church was up in arms...and now wants to defrock him for his actions...what?...the church's words, "he needs to be punished for his actions"...

Got to get back to sports...I know...I have digressed...

Break up the Blazers!...as they are winning...everywhere...as they have run their streak to 7...this time in Brooklyn....as they whipped the hapless Nets...without a doubt, the most disappointing team in the league thus far...Coach Kidd is on the very HOT seat...back to PDX...they have all the parts and will be a force throughout the season...Rip City is BACK...glad I got the NBA Package...

The end to the NFL game last eve...my son told me about it...I got to see the play this am...oh my...to set the stage...the Pats were down by 4...and time was running out...and threw a ball into the end zone...and the pass was intercepted...not so fast my friends...the official behind the play threw a flag...pass interference...BUT...the white hat...er, the lead ref, over-ruled...and the game was over...it was a turrible ruling...never, ever bet on the NFL...too much of this crap...

The Bolts are the worst offensively run team in the league...as witnessed to their game ending debacle at Miami...it is a repeated thing...and I thought Norv was bad...this bloke is beyond belief...spike the ball, you foo....spike the ball...stop the clock....eegads, what a mess...

The Clips got hammered at home by the bigs of Memphis...of course, it didn't help that the wings couldn't throw it in the ocean from the sand...hey, it's the NBA...there is another one coming up...let's move on...booo...

There is no better place than to buy stuff than at Costco...we bought a vacuum cleaner a while back...a Dyson...spent a goodly amount for it...and it stopped working properly...we called Dyson...who wanted us to take in to get it fixed...cooler heads prevailed...as Leila suggested we just take it back to Costco...which we did...got our $ back...were going to get another...Dyson...but the price had risen over a $100!...switched to a Hoover and so far, real good...not sure if that is proper grammar, but, what the hell...it's my blog...

How on earth can the country comedian Bill be in the finals of DWTS?...he is turrible...and there have been some mighty talented dancer types that have been given the boot...by the voting public...it is time that those numbers are released, right?...
