This day will always be about our 35th President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy...how he was taken from us...regardless of whom...or by how many...the fact that he was the essence of our country...here and abroad...so sad...

I know, I have covered this the other day....but...CNN did a couple of extensive shows on the murder...and how Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone killer...believe it if you want...but there was one eery clip they had in the Dallas Jail on Saturday the 23...as chaos reigned down on that area...and the press was interviewing the Sheriff...and in the foreground, milling about...none other than the next day killer, Jack Ruby...very peculiar...

Read a bit about what it was like down here in SD...as per usual, all sporting events were either canceled or postponed...JFK was just here at SDSU...and like most places, endeared...and one thing that caught my eye...the border was closed down...hmmm...

Thanks to those of you who commented on my apparent decline in awareness...as yesterday, was in fact, not Friday...ew...sure seemed like Friday...smelled like it...looked like it...felt like it...

Thanks also to the boyz who commented on the Fielder/Kinsler trade...as they (the boyz) are rabid Tiger fanatics...and told me that it was a good trade for Detroit...and gave me their reasoning...I say...not so fast my friends...you just can't take that type of bat out of the lineup...and...Texas is drooling...BUT..if you guys  are happy, than I am, too...

Not a good deal...to have a feature game on TBS...and Chas (like in Barkley) doesn't think much of you...er, that was the case last eve...as the Clips were at the OKC (Supersonics)...and got drubbed...and the TV headline?...that Chuck doesn't think much of Blake Griffin...and CP111 defends BG...and on and on...then...OKC rips the Clips...makes Chas feel like a brainiac...well...he's right...Griffin is NOT a go to guy...and the rest of the league will shut down CP111...and then, LA...hey...I'm not saying he is not talented, nor exciting...which he is...just not THE guy...

Whole Foods...I have mentioned this...but we are in the process of eliminating trans fats in our intake...and if you want to look at a reason, well, reasons...google it...ha ha...this processing of food was set up for shelf life...hydrogenation, or partly of the same....is but a molecule away from plastic...that is in so much of what is sold...interestingly, not in any restaurant in Cali...how about in your state?...anyway...everything sold at Whole Foods is trans fat free...thus, the allure...and man, was it packed yesterday (Thursday or Friday)...and...we found very affordable things there...check this out kids...I am not just spinning my wheel on it...very important stuff...

You asked how we did in the golf T last week?...won by 8 strokes...yup, it was a smashing success story for the M/S/L/W talented 4 some...and we are back at in a couple of weeks in another one...this time, the best 2 of 4...am counting me $ right now...

Every since my boy went to dental school at UNLV, we began following that school...as ours...it's what you do...and the football program has had it's problems...winning...in fact, like lots...of losses...well...they played at the entire Air Force last eve...and after going up 27-0, held on in bitter cold weather...and won it by 3 td's...and, get this...are BOWL ELIGIBLE...the first time since 2000...this is after I watched them play one of them Arizona teams at the beginning of the season...and were turrible...nice turnaround...good on 'em...

Well now, it's Friday, right?...or is it Saturday?...I am so confused...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
