phrase...I mean it's the WILD WILD WEST!...the Pac 12 turned itself up, back, around, and down...as the lovely USC Trojans did the unthinkable, upset the Stanford Cardinal...did NOT see that coming...coupling that with the Ducks methodical V over the Utah "Utes" ( I guess that's better)...and UO has the path to the north Pac 12 Title....capitalize north?...and Zona, must have been caught looking ahead to the Duckees, as they got beat by the lame Cougs...what?...and the Beavs...well...lost to a better team in the Sun Devils...sorry OSU fans, but it's true...

Well now, this is good for the local scene, but destroys the league nationally...and fuggit about a BSBCS title chance...so make the best of it...and (UO), finish things off right at Arizona and at home, vs the Beavs...and you get a PAC 12 Title game with ?...prob ASU?...still a lot of work to do...

Bragging rights....as the formidable 4 ball team of Morgan, Lindvedt, Whitsen, and Shepard...were leading in the clubhouse at the T yesterday out at Sycuan...er, Pops, Gary, Putts, and CHorse....as we are known...the game was...play your own ball...and score the best 3 of 'em on each hole...we played out of our minds...had the low score of all 3 flights...I had my low round of the year out there...81...dang, I am getting close...but the star of the team, was Pops...an 18 hdcper, shot an 82!...of course, he was getting nervous...so he had a spiked up coffee drink at the turn...you know, calm himself down...ha ha...we all had our moments, as the other blokes had an 84 and an 88...and... I was asked to join the golf team...the Thursday one...ha ha...I will be on the list of eligible hacks...so, in case of sickness...I may be asked to play...oh well, I get a team shirt...

The Nets came calling to LA...to play the Clips...seems to me like a rip off...if you went to see them...as 4 of their starters didn't play...the two carryover stars and the two new ones that they stole from Boston...what?...it ended up a good (?), well close, game...as the Clips won...still, this should be fine worthy...look to the future...as Coach Kidd will get the boot prior to the season's conclusion...

And the beat goes on...a story out of Philly...where a high school team is nicknamed "Redskins"...and the student newspaper...writes a column about changing the name...and has the support of the students and the staff...BUT...the principal will have none of it...and the kid got called on the carpet...enough people enough...reminds me of my childhood...out at Chemawa (Oregon)...a Native American Boarding School...who were called the "Braves"...geez, they were...are those Philly kids, are they "Redskins?"...and even if they were...

SDSU football...escaped with a W in Hawaii...I feared it...this is not a good team...and plays like in the 70's...and the Islanders are winless...and it smelled....and it went to OT...and now...get this, are bowl eligible...ha ha...

Staying in that aura...the Bolts are at Miami today...and...play as well as their opponent...which is not good in this case....as the Dolphins are marginal...but can run the ball...which is OK...for us...just don't throw it...as we are the worst, Jerry, the worst in the league at defending that...smelly game...real smelly...do not bet on NFL games, ever....never....it will be a Daffy Duck one...trust CH...

That's it kids...time to turn on Sunday Morning...with not a cloud in the sky....ahhhhhh...

WAIT...this too, the Shepherd Rams won again...undefeated and won the MEC...winners...
