Everyone is talking about the loser...and not the winner...as the Broncos beat the Boys, in a thriller, 51-48...what?...this is the same team that the Bolts beat up on last week...the bloody NFL...who can figure it?...but, as the scribes want to emphasize the screw up by Romo at the end, I think we should talk about just how good Peyton Manning is...as he brought the Broncos back and then took advantage of the D's pick...and very smartly, used the clock to kick the winning FG...

Staying in the league...due to the Oakland A's playoff game the day before...the football game was moved to an 8:30 pm start....eegads...I could barely stay awake for the 1st half...as the Bolts took on the turrible Raiders....wait, SD is the new dog...as they got whupped by Oakland...in a very listless outing by the Bolts...awful game plan...and Rivers looked like crap...er, played like crap...got shut out in the 1st...on the way to a 27-17 loss...let's be honest, this is not a good team...

Prez Cup (Boehner's Cup)...the US won...BUT...when it came down to the single's matches...that the US usually dominates...it was the Internationals who got er done...winning 8 of the 12...and it was Tiger who clinched the W...just as he has the last 3 of these events...he beat somebody I have never, ever, heard of...I still don't know who he is...

As I am writing, the Today Show is having the one and only Miley Cyrus...yup, that one...as their musical guest...she can sing...but is disgusting to watch...just can't figure why she does what she does...doesn't she have a producer?...where is her daddy?...somebody...help!...

The Ducks are still number 2...following Bama...

The LPGA just finished up a T in China...and there were smog delays...and some of the players wore "smog masks"...has to be awful there...

And now the most disgusting of all stories...and listen to whom this is all about...
the year is 1916...and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets had on their schedule a team called Cumberland...a school that had dropped their football team the year before...but GT wouldn't let them out of it...as the national title was dependent by the points scored...and the football coach was also the baseball coach...and was shellacked by Cumberland the season before....so he was thinking he needed to get even...on the football field...so, Cumberland, got a bunch of kids to suit up and field a rag tag group...and Georgia Tech bet 'em up bad...in the biggest, most lopsided score in the history of the College football...222-0...what?...yup...Coach Heisman was elated...wait, Heisman?...yup, the one and only John Heisman...the guy who the best college player in the land is
named after...the Heisman Trophy....if this isn't the biggest pile of crap ever...does the NCAA know this?...it should go to the must disgusting player of the year...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
