Stupid

First of all, let's just say the one game wild card series is STUPID in MLB...all of baseball has at least 3 games in their series...and that's what it should be...BUT...as usual, the umps had a lot of influence on one of the WC games...

You see, the bloody umps call something on every play in the game...whether it be a ball or strike or a play...so...they are surely going to miss one or two along the way...and this time it was a short fly to LF, with runners on 1st and 2nd...the LF ump, yup, the LF ump, called the infield fly rule...batter automatically out and runners return...and yup, the ball dropped into play behind the SS...brouhaha...and the fans went ballistic...Atlanta protested the game (waste)...they lose the protest and the game...and they are through for the season...

There is no 2nd of all...I am tickled by all the smugness of the Repubs after the Mitt win...not so fast my friends...there are two to go...and Prez O will be back on track...and then...good thing for the Demos that it wasn't a one game series...so there you go, that's the 2nd of all...

I don't know if you have seen it, but the Beavs are beginning to get some buzz nationally...i-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g....and aren't you surprised how Penn St has done?...just can't fathom the Gators being favored or winning against LSU...SDSU will stomp Hawaii, who just may be the worst team in the US...it seems like so many people keep doubting the greatness of the Ducks...so Sargasian's Huskies invade Autzen for another tester...the line?...27 1/2...BYU beat Utah St. 6-3 in the 2 minute drill to close out the 1st half...no scoring in the 2nd?...what?...Navy at Air Force...the Midshipmen have been miserable...

SoCal's version of the Octoberfest is out at La Mesa...it's a trolley ride to it and it is loads of fun...we just may go this afternoon...

Finally, regular gas prices are from $4.49 to $4.99 a gallon here...boooooooooooo...
