You know how much I despise the present college football bowl scene...and the hideous, corrupt, BSBCS system...in the underbelly of the upper tier is the ugly set up of the rest of the bowls...no better example than that of the Big 10...who actually has 12 teams...where 10 of their schools are in BOWL GAMES!...TEN...it's almost like the system that the great state of Oregon has done to their playoffs, where all teams are in....wait, did I say playoffs?  Back to the Big 10...how many Eastern Michigans can they play to get to the magical 6 number?...Good people of the land, rise up and get this corrected...or, you, who are the highly esteemed president of your college or university....DON'T YOU HAVE ANY PRIDE in your word or actions?  I am ashamed...so should you be...

Get this...with the problem of illegal immigration of the Mexican border...there is talk of having an unmanned crossing...where to enter, you would speak to someone on a screen, 100 miles away...what?  How can this not miss...

Divine intervention...OK, it's unfair...the highly spiritual Bronco led QB, Tim Tebow, won another incredible game....in the last two minutes...and pretty much eliminated the Raiders and Chargers...and don't you think that all the conservatives in this fine land aren't jumping aboard the Tebow Train...just wait...when the likes of the GOP need him, he'll show up in the Prez race...mark my words...

OMG!  We have rain here...well, it's SD rain...not like the downpour that we are used to in Oregon...and the peops here have all the same rain gear...ha ha...pretty funny really...this is nuttin...

Have I said anything positive yet?...my fantasy team is pretty darn good...moved into a tie for first heading to the playoffs...the real trick is picking your lineup with some of the teams already in the real playoffs...you know what I'm saying?...

When we went to the Mirage in October the cost was like over 2 bills per night...now, it's $45 bucks a night...boo....

Shoot, we didn't go the movies or to the Boat parade...something about recouping from the office party...maybe tonight?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
