Da Bowl Games

OK, I am telling you that it is the most corrupt thing in collegiate sport...the bowl games...that which disrupts any thoughts of a playoff system...hey, each bowl has a set of governors, or whatever they are called...and they make boocoo bucks inviting and setting up their own little bowl games...and you tell me that it's on the up and up?...every once in a while somebody will do an expose on the money crap...and nothing ever happens...it just keeps going on...and with 35, or is it 34, of them...it is BIG BUSINESS...most of the time for the schools or leagues that are involved...so, the schools get $ and they don't complain 'cuz of it...booo...and the bigger the bowl, the bigger the dough...

The NBA...the Clips did get Chris Paul...and the ones that are interviewed?...the Lakers...who are in bewilderment why he didn't come their way...speaking of LA...there are many rumors out there about moving Pau Gasol...it is looking like the Lakes are in disarray...new coach and new attitude...interesting...

We'll see just how this Tebowitis really is...as they take on the Pats...if they are successful, then I  will say it is divine intervention...'cuz he's the worst QB in the league...a little harsh, but darn close to the truth...

Did not see the GOP debate last night...what you think?...sounds like the rest of the pack was teeing off on Newt...funny how the stuff goes....put 'em on top and take shots...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
