A very cool thing about watching a good movie...how you can get lost in the hour or two that it is on the screen...have watched a few lately...believe it or not, a real oldie in "All The King's Men"...that starred the one and only Broderick Crawford...and the other was a recently Blu-ray released, "Something Borrowed", starring Gini Goodwin and Goldie Hawn's daughter, Kate Hudson...NY backdrop...mindless stuff that was fun...and, I promise you, we are heading over to the GQ movie house for "New Year's Eve" this eve....wait, this afternoon...because...

Tonight we are going to watch the annual Mission Bay Parade of Boats...that are lit up with Christmas lights...and is the first time we have taken it in...it's a couple of blocks away...maybe we'll go up to the 10th floor and watch it...decisions, decisions...

So you can  feel rested that my golf game appears to be back...slight alteration in my iron play...and I'm hitting the ball properly again...I know you were worried...

Navy beat Army for the 10th straight time...geez, maybe, just maybe, the Cadets should change their offense to the 21st century...and give themselves a chance...still, a fun game to watch as the tradition is very rich...

GOP...the elephants have turned on Newt...as he has emerged as the choice of the moment...so the rest of the scalliwags attacked him...your gurl Michelle had her highlight, calling Newt, "Newt Romney"...and Mitt...challenged the Gov of Texas to a $10 grand bet...ha ha...this is what I'm talking about...

It seems like the thing to do is air brush your photos...so I'm going to redo all my pictures so I can look as good as LiLo does...

Caught the 2nd half of the Indiana/Kentucky hoop game....In Indy...geez, I like to see Calapari (Wildcat coach) squirm....as the building went nuts as the Hoosiers won on a 3 ball at the buzzer...and, oh by the way, Indy was not ranked and 8-0 coming into the fray...what?

Don't give a damn about the Heisman Trophy...it's all about propaganda and the eastern block voting...boo....

And finally, the NBA...some how the Lakers got rid of Lamar Kardashian...sent him packing to the Mavs...odd sequence, as the Dallas owner, Mark Cuban, was the biggest opponent to the 3 team trade with Houston/New Orleans/LA...and then he gets one of those guys when it is abolished by the commish...smells real fishy, huh...real smelly...boooooooooo....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
