Pebble Beach Open

So the star duo combo of Lefty and Tiger took their turns at getting into contention at the pasture land, so affectionately called Pebble Beach...BUT...it's the long john, Dustin Johnson, that's dominating the field at 6 under...matching the miracle 66 of Tiger...so...look back into time and I predicted this young man as the player to watch...hey, expect some cool stuff today...you Tiger haters, turn away...
No walk off win last night, but the stage was set for the Pads...tying run on 3rd with one out and ...no cigar...normally if we score 4 runs, it's a win in the books...we need a number 4 hitter...in the worst way...maybe have to look one of our closers...hate the thought...but, to win it all, we have to have cover for AGonzo...
Guess who's back in the LPGA?  None other than the US of A hope...Paula Creamer ...out nearly 3 months with a busted wrist...and she is in the hunt in Jersey...10 under...soooooo needed for the tour...there seems to be a bunch of young American talent and she is the leader...what has happened to Michele Wie?

Father's Day...my son flew in and we have had a blast...2 Pads games, golf, and fantastic meals...perfect!

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
