Pebble Beach Open...the survivor at even par, yup, I said even par...none other than Graeme McDowell...as the golf world was collapsing all around him...he and only he, could muster up enough pars to get the win...Dustin Johnson actually shot an 82 to wither...what a brutal set of greens this place had...watching the best just shake their heads after missed putt after missed putt, made me wonder, what do they really think?  No, this place is one that I would never play, regardless of price...but, $450...OMG...
The Padres won another series beating the Orioles...are 1 and 1/2 game up on the Giants...travel to Florida for two series with the (Devil) Rays and the Marlins...coincidentally, so are we...back to the Sunday father's day game...outside of a horrible defensive start by our 1B....two more non-charged errors and giving up 4 runs in the 1st...we battled back for 9 runs...2 dingers by our new clean up guy, Nick Hundley , and Will "the thrill" Venable...and 3 doubles by the afore mentioned AGonzo (the 1B)...I think my son is undefeated in his attended games...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
