Where on earth do I start with this...the
Tea Party...a shortened name for the
Tax Day reformation movement...has emerged...the
republican party is in such a disarray that splintered groups have formed...this one has the major backing of the
AFA (
the American Family Association), strategically named to hide the conservative Christian right...get to their website and you'll see what I mean...
Newt Gingerich has the unofficial leadership and it is backed heavily by your favorites,
Hannity and Beck...where is Rush? As you know, I'm not fond of politicians in general, and
faith only bigots in specifics...this group is a front for the likes of them....they had this gathering in Nashville this past weekend that featured their keynote speaker...
Sarah Palin ...her speech was covered by CNN (what, not Fox?)...and, of course, I watched and was
DISTURBED that anyone...I mean anyone...could possibly
buy into her crap...OK, people
follow this group closely...it will not go away and of course...be aware, be very aware...where their money comes from...if you get sucked into the movement,
don't say I didn't warn you...
Enough of that for now...today is the
Super Bowl...quite often it turns out to be anything but...I think it will and could come down to whomever has the ball last...
The
Blazers...lost at home last night to the Kobe less
Lakers...the severity of the lack of a PG is so great when the ancient lefty PG, Derek Fisher, from LA dominates the likes of what PDX puts out there...severe? maybe not so harsh, but still is a huge issue...
