Boxing Day

Good morning!...how was your Christmas?...well, now, for all of my born days and since...I have never ever heard this...the thang called 'Boxing Day'...the day after Christmas...just happened on it, reading this am...say what?...of course, tickled me interest...and here is the scoop...

It is also called 'Offering Day'...a day of goodwill...to give to those who are needy...the origination is unclear but did start in the British Commonwealth...Great Britain...hmmm...wonder how trump would handle a day like this?...

Hype and then...the goods...and the bads...Beyonce's halftime show...almost 13 minutes of highly choreographed dancing, singing, and whatever...it was quite the production...did catch ones eyes...but, the underlying concept...was to overshadow a very weak singing voice that she has...this was on the break of the NFL game of the Ravens/Texans...which was ONLY carried on Netflix...go figure...the regular networks were carrying some NBA games...JCC...didn't watch a minute of them...all in all, the Horse gives her energy an A, but the singing a D...I am but one person, you may have felt diff from me...

I was wondering...about that passenger plane going down...and read that one of our Congressionals let out that it was shot down...by Russia...weird, as it was hundreds of miles off course...follow the news on this, as more will be released...

A sign of things to come?...Prez B pardons 37 people from execution...and Prez-elect trump tells the 37 to 'go to Hell!'...

180* here...opened up the Little Big Town Christmas vinyl...and played it on Christmas Day...it is simply marvelous!...their harmony is splendid...why I didn't open it sooner, I dunno...one cut, should be a classic...like forever...listen to the album, and see if we agree on which one...

Doesn't today, feel like a Sunday?...

Big waves out at the coast...just might roll on out there...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......
