Holiday Extension


C'mon now, kids...the Holidays are NOT over...we dine, we party, we meet, we sip, and we be merry...until the New Year!...hmmm, or when the Ducks play the Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl...thereabouts is the finality...we got festive yesterday, to boot...got the rig washed...kept on going to the beach to see the so called 'high waves'...which were normal...tide must have been out...and yes, for all of you non SoCal peops, it was tee shirt and shorts...finished it off with a swim in the pool...don't hate us...we pay for it...

6-3, was the score of a NFL game...not beisbol...the ending score...as the Seahawks beat da Bears...six to three...BTW, the bowl game with Pitt and the eventual winner, Toledo...was a doozy...6 OT's...with countless booth reviews...ejections...and just plain, a mess...the Horse should implement this rule...if your bowl game is not part of the CFP, if it is tied at the end of the regulation time period...it ends in a tie...ha ha...wonder what the coach gets if the game is tied?...no bonus?...

The Miami hoops HC...resigned abruptly...said he had had it with the NIL...his team was in the final 4 last season, and 8 of his players went to higher paid positions elsewhere...let's get serious here...it's time for a real governing board...set limits and all...it is totally out of whack as is...

I got a little excited...looking at some Costco travel packages...the one that got me going...is to Nashville...any of you out there, ever used this service?...does it save money?...cuz, we are on a fixed income, I would have to save up to get the deal...

Russia has warned all, to not connect the downed airliner to them...what are they warning?...they will do it again?...trust them as much as I do a politician....that we all know...

Fun bowl games today...which mean nuttin honey...Syracuse vs WSU, right here in SD...Texas A&M vs USC in Vegas...and Oklahoma vs the entire Navy in Ft Worth, Texas...JCC...but you know I'll watch bits and pieces...and for you hoopsters...the pity game of the week...Arlington Baptist at Baylor...really...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

O Yeah!

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?...
