Let's Go!


Not sure when this started...but the cry by most athletes, as they do something great is 'Let's Go!'...guys and gals...it is the go to phrase...don't get me wrong, I like it...there are many other things to say...quite often, filled with obscenities...ha ha...but this one...is right on...rad...groovy...hip...far out...the bomb...dope...stupid...

Olympics...the medal race is competitive with China...in fact, China has overtaken the USA in Gold medals as of this morning...must say, that their members are much bigger in stature than ever before...right?...anyhoo, the guys hoops go today for the Gold...tomorrow the gals hoops for the Gold...both of the opponents are from France...a brief reminder to ya'll, that the Horse has said the rising basketball stars are from France...how about that...

The heart stopping Friars...came from behind yet again last eve...and beat the Fish...the star that performs under pressure for us, 21 yr old Jackson Merrill...the Bums won, as did the DBacks...and all has not changed...'Let's Go!'...

Very lucky I did a check up on our flights, car rental, and hotel stay...as the latter had no record of my reservation...when I changed phones, I lost some info...and they had no record of us staying there...whew...redid it, and all is good now...I believe we are all set...

The race is on...Harris/Walz in Arizona...and trump in Montana...interesting choice of states to be at...one might think that Montana is not a swing state...perhaps, he needs his ego boosted a bit...before he gets hammered in the debate...

Are bucket hats making a comeback?...have seen many lately adorning the cabezas...if so, let's see some more mini-skirts...and pegged jeans...tye dyed shirts...oops, I have already started that...well, it never left my ensemble...

As I write this am, am watching the final round for the gals golf...Lydia Ko, cruising...up 5...on the back 9...we are in dire straits for a medal...as Nelly is 6 back...and not playing that well...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
