Good Morning, from San Diego


Top of the morning to you all...as this summer season has finally arrived...at least here...we have turned the AC on but once...we live on a corner unit, so we get natural air...leaving both patio doors open...

The new Apple Mac laptop finally arrived in the afternoon yesterday....took about 3 hours to transfer stuff...thru something I didn't know I had...Migration App...who'd a thunk?...anyhoo, am using the laptop to write this am...and boy oh boy, is it LIGHTNING FAST!...

Getting kind of antsy for the VP pick by Kamala...still think it may be Kelly...am laughing about how trump is avoiding the debate, hosted by ABC...which is the planned one...he wants Fox...only...have them both...

Impending doom...the Israel fight in the Middle East....against a lot of nations...

The Friars finally beat the Rockies...3-2...stay at striking distance from the Bums...it's going to be a wild ride for the next 2 months...fun stuff...

Thus far, overcast outside...

Oly golf...dang it all, Jon Rahm has jumped into the lead ( up by 3) in this final round...thru 8...10 holes to go...fingers crossed for anyone but him...

Have you ever seen the tv show about finding a dream home on the Orlando lakeside?...for about $2 million...don't they know there are thousands of alligators awaiting to invade their property?...what about the constant hurricanes?...as you may know, we sold our Floridian property a month or so ago....whew...

We drove out to Mission Beach to get the Lexus a bath....you can not believe how many people were flocking to the sand yesterday...escaping the inland heat...

Well, it is Sunday...golf...beisbol...and the Monster Sudoku...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
