Knock Knock Knock


And even louder...KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!...at our door this morning...like real early...4:30ish...it was the dreaded fire alarm...and WATER BREAK!...on OUR FLOOR...opening up the door, and there it be...we were so fortunate, as it stopped right at our doorstep...the rest of the floor, not so lucky...the perils of vertical living...and the water went down, too...thru the elevators, the lobby, and the parking garage...pretty much makes life a standstill...as I am writing this am (6:20) there are workers trying to syphon the water OUT...using the machines that do it...and now...the water has stopped...the reasoning for it all?...yet to be determined...or, the people in the know, have not said...anyhoo, I am home bound and will miss my golf today...just as well, as my knee is acting up...

Yes, my knee...no idear what happened , but it twisted last eve...and still is balky...thus, I am very cautious...you know, being an elder and all...

You know your guy trump is panicking with the polls...as now he wants to debate...even will do the September 10 one on ABC...in fact, he wants 3 of them...ha ha...one shall do it, Bozo...you shall be pummeled and you will need to get back to your revivals...where you can dominate, and say your countless lies...the forevers dig it...

Hmmm...2 1/2 back...the frolicking Friars...swept the Pirates in Pitt...and now, head to Florida...to continue the rise to the top of the west...a month ago, I said that it was a pipe dream...the reality of it all, is that there is a heck of a chance...keep on a hitting the rock...

My fear for the Only hoop team...the guys...was at full display yesterday...as Serbia led most the whole way...in the semis...and Curry stepped up big time...led the USA to a very nail biting W...and on to the Gold Game vs France...BTW, another Horse statement...in the near past...France is the new hotbed of hoops from Europe...guys and gals...

Lady Oly golf...oh my...as Nelly had a disastrous par 3 hole...that took her out of the contention...on a tee shot that was 2 feet from brilliant...to a drop in the pond...and then it got worse...ONE HOLE!...today, she is making another comeback...now -3 and 5 back...

Finally, the plot at the Taylor Swift Concert...one more arrested in connection...yes, she has canceled her upcoming concerts...what a world we live in...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
