The race is on , and here comes pride in the backstretch...Heartaches goin' to the inside...

Yes, the Demos have already endorsed...Kamala Harris, as the running rep...the candidate...she has the votes...man, that was quick...they were ready...now, the unveiling of the VP pick...I think it is the guy from Arizona, or the guy from Pennsylvania...we shall see...whoever it is, the race is on...

The Repubs have set their sights on her...and will try everything in their Roger Stone repertoire, to find skeletons...unfortunately, it won't be educationally...as she has much more knowledge than Bozo...they have to find ways to hide that...I have this feeling that trump won't debate her...really...

Regardless of the few things I just mentioned...there is a gaggle of time before us...and prior to the election in November...so much to unfurl...and we, the people, will just watch the circus...

BTW, the song that I used for the blog today, is by the immortal George Jones...covered by another Jones, for the 'easy listening' world, Jack Jones...and later by a group called Sawyer Brown...


So much for the 'secret' service...what a misnomer...the director resigned today, due to the assassination attempt...oh well, it's like firing a manager, cuz the guys aren't playing well...happens all the time...

The Friars are in DC...the cats who gave us Soto, for a year and a half...beisbol, is like trading baseball cards...happens way too frequently...

Speaking of the game...our former MGR, now with the Giants...Bob Melvin...got tossed from his game, as he was HANDING lineup card to the opposing MGR and the radical umps...good lord, blue, toughen up...

Yes, I have my doubts about the guys Olympic team...hoops...winning the gold...real doubts...the gals?...the toughest team they will face?...none...as the WNBA stars, not picked by the 'coach'...already beat them...and they would again...but, the rest of the World?...nope...

To the super...I need some Grape Nuts...+...the Beetle needs a bath...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
