Tried liked I can...beat the curse of the NBA Playoffs...of 150-0...where the team that goes up 3 nil, wins the series...the Heat did it again...and now, the record moves on...yup, 151-0!...as they handled the Celtics easily in game 7...the Horse predicted it's demise...but, like all other prognosticators. it is just words...some make a living doing that...not me...so...on they (Miami) go to the finals to play the Denver Nuggets...who do I have?...why, the Nuggets, of course...just saw the pix...is that a State Farm placard?...boooooo.

We are heading over the mountains for a stay in the desert...to see, primarily, the one and only, Shania Twain...in concert...we watched a show about her, last eve on Netflix...good stuff...I did not remember that she had 12 hits on ONE ALBUM (Come on Over)...out of 16 songs...who has done that?...the Beatles?...how many hits came from their White Album?...

There was this time in the music biz, that a feel good genre of music was quite alive...called 'Disco'...got people in dance halls, up and rocking...it was cool...well, there was this heavy set weirdo Chicago DJ, who thought he could be some one...and came up with the slogan...'Disco Sucks'...convinced the White Sox to go along with the charade...if the patron brought a disco record and 98 cents they could come into the ball game...and after they would bomb the pile of records...the disco records...and thus, end the genre...it worked...sadly...there was the boom...the place was packed...and then, a riot broke out...yup, killed Disco...and The Bee Gees, for awhile...Steve Dahl...this was in '79...he got fired from his station and let loose on something...it was Disco...the odd thing...well, more odd...that the game was really a part of a doubleheader...not played....the DJ continued on with what he did...still DJaying somewhere...and now you know...I like Disco...
