The Debt Ceiling
How many times have we gone thru a Debt Ceiling Crisis?...way too often, kids...and yup, we are back at it...again...the faces change, the politicians...but, the process is the same...with the massive amounts of money we take in, and then, give out...it always seems we are in the red...too often, 'we' lend (?) military weapons to our 'allies'...good lord, we have many, many items we need to alter, to keep our 'leadership' in the world...OK, I am being way generic...specifics?...you, too, can read the garble that is being said...by the participants...thing is, the Speaker and the Prez have a tentative agreement...now, the Speaker has to go back and convince his cronies...there you go...like I said earlier, makes no diff who is running this country, this item ALWAYS pops up...
How about the finish of the Celtics/Heat game...a tip in at the buzzer, and the unlikely is happening...a team down 3 nil, has a chance to break the streak of 150 straight wins for the leader....the Horse has predicted it so...might be one of the only prophecies I have got right...well, it's not correcto, yet...the 7th game in Boston...to complete the turn around...
We took a Tiki Tour about the bay yesterday...narration, it is not...narrated, I think I should have said...it was more of a drink fest...with youngins...21+ type...I was clearly the eldest on board...and 'won' such award for being so...BUT, it was a hoot...a real hootenanny...dancing included...in a rather smallish pontoon type of boat...'sky rockets in flight'...well, not really...more of the beat of the rap...you know, I don't know any of the 'singers' of that genre of 'music'...however, all else on board, did...one funny thang...a girl won the right to pick any song for her ability to tell a fun fact about another on board...she picked 'The Theme from Jaws'...
Another star passing...this time it is Ed Ames...95...of the infamous Ames Bros...he was Mingo on the TV's 'Daniel Boone Show'...and may be remembered for his chucking a tomahawk on the Johnny Carson Show...a must see, if you haven't...find it on YouTube...
Upon taking our money man, JJ, to the airport at 5:30...like am...I am perpetually surprised at the numbers of people there at that time...where are they going?...like being on the LA freeways, where is everyone going?...
Memorial Day is here, to recognize those who died for our country...so many people don't know that...they see it as a day off...there you go...
So you might want my review of the Kelly and Whomever Show...you might not...she has her husband on now...doesn't work...it does for a spot shot...but not everyday...boring and I'm not sure how they fire the dude...if they don't, the show will tank and be dropped...ooo...too harsh?...
