Racially Motivated Hate Crime



These FOUR words are as chilling as it gets...'Racially Motivated Hate Crime'...the latest mass killing...at least 10 people MURDERED, by a gunman...in Buffalo, New York...at a predominately black neighborhood super market...by an 18 year old white assassin...listen, kids...randomly, as the people were buying groceries...which begs the question, is there a safe place to be?...

I am not going to get into the why's right now...what I am going to talk about...is how 'we the people' don't appear to value human life...one is born, with a vast future ahead...who knows where it will lead and how...certainly, in many cases, why?...yet it takes one deviant to take this life away...and it is happening way too often...

On a much bigger scale, what Putin is doing to Ukraine...taking random lives...and right here in the USA, we see almost daily shootings...killings...lives lost...the reasons?...it is not as easy as the gunmen are crazy...many have a purpose...like in this Buffalo massacre...his was allegedly racial...think back to the Las Vegas guy, who shot from the upper floor of a casino down on a concert, killing whomever...remind yourself of the countless school shootings...13 people shot after the pro game in Milwaukee...reason?...

The obvious loss of life in the Covid infection...over ONE MILLION LIVES...of Americans...tragic end to what we thought was going to be a lifetime of happiness...

You know my feelings of the rapid fire guns...you also know my despair for the racially charged division of our country by trump...the gains we made over the past 70 years, have been harpooned...

And now, I am going to sound like a politician...but, we must get better...there is only one way to go...

OK, let's get into the play day of sports...

The Padres let another slip away...as the lack of relief pitching is a problem...and the fact that we stay with guys too long...to 'protect' the bullpen...give me a break...BTW, Cano makes his inaugural Friar start today at 2B...

A doozy for game 7 in the west...NBA...Mavs at Suns...Stephen A ( da sports guru) predicts a blow out win for Phoenix...not so fast, my good man...they have to stop Doncic, and they haven't yet with their tactics...watch early if the Suns double him...if not, Dallas wins and moves on...

The PGA is in Texas...and most all the dudes who are from there, play in this Byron Nelson T...watch out for a finish by Jordan Spieth...but, shoot, I dunno...

The WNBA has begun...and I pay attention to the NY Liberty...as that is where the Oregon Gal, Sabrina Ionescu...is playing...

And...

Right here in SD...a woman and a 12 yr old were shot in Lincoln Park...the woman has died...in a park, kids...on a much lighter item...well, different...the march of the protesting 'leak' of SCOTUS probable ruling...was downtown yesterday...while we were trying to get back home...massive crowd, ya'll...we had to go all the way to 10th and wiggle our way back...

I guess once a realtor, the blood is still there...but, Boss Lady was watching the millionaire realtor dudes from LA on the pixels...can't relate...$48 million dollar home, that undersold for $45 million...think about that commission...yet, the realtors don't seem happy...but surely vindictive to one another...is this real or just a TV thang?...

Haven't talked to a friend for years...did so, and I did all the listening...never once was asked, 'how u doing?'...oh well, I am a good listener...maybe, he reads my daily blog...and knows all about moi...probably not...

Is this crass?...Boss Lady's former boss only reads the obits...wants to see who he has outlasted...

How often can one eat Honey Nut Cheerios to lower the cholesterol in a week?...we got the big box of them, and I sick and tired of that cereal...recall the days of my youth, when I would add a teaspoon of sugar to all my cereals...did you ever eat Corn Soya?...

You know when you got it made, when YOU are invited to the after party of the original party...and if or iff, you are escorting a KFam member...

Now if I lived in Pennsylvania...which I don't...but if I did...I would NOT vote for Oz...surely not a wizard...full of himself...and is a forever...well, as long as he can get that endorsement...hmmm, if that is still of benefit...watch him run from that tree if it falls...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
