The Kentucky Derby

Being a horse race player since my high school days...at the infamous Oregon State Fair Races...which no longer exist, my good friends...I have always had my eye out on the biggest single race of the season...The Kentucky Derby...on my bucket list (hint hint Dentist son)...anyhoo, the races down here are splendid, out at the Del Mar Grounds...a trip there is divine...fortunately, I frequent that yard a ton...

BUT, there is none like the race that happens today...in Kentucky...where 20 hosses give their all for the crown as the Best in the Biz as a 3 yr old...as often is, the handicapping of this race is nearly absurd...the credentials it takes to be even IN THIS RACE, is worthy of a look...at betting that hoss...this time, 2022, it is as hard as ever...

You want a winner?...well, so do I...the Kentucky Oaks was the JV game...and I hit it at $5 on the nose...that was yesterday...'Secret Oath', ridden by Luis Saez...listen to me, kids...not sure if it has happened before, but I like that jockey's chances in the Vahsity game...'Charge It'...there will be lots of action on Zandon, Epicenter, Mo Donegal, and Happy Jack...my long shot is Cyberknife, with Florent Gerous aboard...really, there is a case for each and every hoss in the race...I kid you not...

One more adjustment...I watch carefully as to the odds as the race nears...when a ton of bucks change the odds, I look as to why...

Elsewhere...

The Pads won game 2 vs them fish...another nail biter, as the closer was not available. and we went with  plan B...who helped scratch out the win...we are getting great starting pitching, as YU, was solid again...now, if we hit the rock more often, we could contend with them Bums...do not be selfish, Horse, we are better than ever before...as is...

Had an impromptu din din last eve with them Miracle Mackles...and the crowning glory to it all?...Boss Lady made a scrumptious Motsa Ball Soup...tonight we head on out to the bestest restaurant in the city, Eddie V's, for Mothers Day...ah, a day early...joining us, is the MM's...party on, dude...

Saw this...every time the National Anthem is played...every woman and girl, should take a knee...

Sorry chief, but if the public has little faith in the rulings of the SCOTUS, we, indeed, have a major problem in our hands...or is it, in OUR hands?...

According to HIS former Defense Secretary, Mark Esper...trump wanted to launch missiles into Mexico to destroy the drug labs...wanted soldiers to seize ballot boxes...and this...shoot the protesters outside of the White House in the knees...and you forevers, this is what you want in YOUR leader?...

You know what the 25th amendment is?...well, people around donny, talked about it often...

The most dangerous procedure done outside of the USA?...well, before the oncoming abortions?....the Brazilian Butt Lift...a 3 hour procedure that can be DEADLY...and is often performed just over the border in Mexico...'nice arse'...where did the KFam get theirs added?...bet not over the border...

Another non belief...in the NBA...a player cheap shots another with a slam to the head...which causes the hurt player to crack his elbow, as he hits the floor....and is out indefinitely. and the perpetrator gets a ONE GAME suspension...!?!...what?...he should be out as long as the injured guy is...BAD RULING!...
