Management or Mismanagement?

Sometimes one can get a feel for what's coming...with the title of the Blog...you might think that the Horse is disgusted with whomever is now riding shotgun on the latest version of the San Diego Padres...not this time, kids...it's more local than that...the newest commandeer of the golf course which is Ours!!!…

For some odd reason, there are orders that have come forth, that are downright strange...bewildering...and yet, perhaps all money driven...I do not know...to be fair, I also do not know if the actions are by the advice of the board of the member's association, the Tribe, or the wants and desires by the bloke in command, all by himself...however, I have an idea...who...

The course itself is getting a makeover, at least the one...adding water and it's attractions...which shall be a beautiful and much harder layout, if done properly...our foursome, has been witnessing the transformation monthly....and then, some decisions have abruptly rang out...which had our collectives heads a scratching...the guest rate for the players was changed...from $35 to $60!...egads...there was a 'what the heck is going on?' attitude by the members...clue number 1...

Out of the blue, the flag colors were changed...you know, the ones in the holes...from red, white, and blue to checkered...all of them...gone is the visibility of where the flags are placed on the green...when asked, the commandeer reportedly said 'they are easier to see...you know, just like race car drivers find checker flags easier to see'...I kid you not...his idea...clue number 2...

The latest?...an email to all of the members...that starting this week...if you fail to live up to YOUR tee time numbers, for each non-show you will be charged $60!...ah, what?...unless, you notify the club by 5 pm the nite before...hmmm, let's say you wake up ill, and can't play that day...$60 bucks, please...don't know if I have ever heard of this sort of rule before...clue number 3...

No doubt, there will be more mandates a coming our way...unless...is this proper management or mismanagement?...I ask you...

For those of you out there who think that whoever 'leaked' the Roe v Wade document should be found and prosecuted...you may be right, but those who are going to vote that way, should be, too...what?...are we going back to the 50's?...shoot, keep going all the way back to the 1919's and take the women's voting rights away, too...
