Maybe that should read, the non-Civil War, game...ah, to be politically correct, the Oregon and Oregon State football game is now just called the Rivalry Game?...well, I don't really know what it's called...it's just not the Civil War anymore...OK, whatever...it has been and still is, the best football game in the state...you can usually throw out the records of the two...in this case, the bizarre Covid 19 infection...there are few games that they have played...what is evident, is that both teams have struggled on D...they both can score...it is being played in Corvallis...alas, no fans (I think)...the line has been wavering at 13 to 14 favoring UO...ah?...the over/under is at 64...so, Vegas says a lot of scoring to be had...the Horse says take the Beavs and the points...this from a Duck fan...
How was your Thanksgiving?...must say that it was certainly full of action for us....cooking, putting up the tree, eating, cleaning, getting a vid call from the kids and their kid, and watching some clunkers of games, from the NFL...boo to that last thing....however, I will brag here...the din din that we had was the best ever!...it all worked out...yes, we cooked for 8 and we had 2...with plenty of gravy and that's the key...hopefully, next time around for this holiday, we have the family together at the same table...
In the midst of the goodness, the bloke from the White House made an appearance...sitting behind his chair he had for grade school...what was that?...tried hard to say some thanks to the service people throughout the world...the military folk...and when queried, went off on a reporter "you should not talk to the president like that"...well, sir, if you acted like one, I wouldn't...not sure when this came out...but he did say that he would leave if the Electoral College voted Prez-elect Biden in...as close as he has come to a concession...just an observation, but isn't his mouth incredibly small for his rather large, bulbous head?...
This is Black Friday...used to be...one would get on down to the stores, stand in line...be one of the first ones in, to get the 'deals' that were advertised...right?...there were only a few that they had....loss leaders...something like that...donuts and coffee for free...ah, not anymore...nuttin's for free...
Got his gem this am...from Verizon...I upgraded my phone to the 12...sent my X back immediately...they did not receive it...OMG...now, we have to search and figure out where it went...something smells fishy to moi...well, not without a fight...but, I am feeling frustrations coming on...
Man, must leave you on a good note today....this is supposed to be the 123rd Civil War...what's it called now?...that is the Q...damn, that's not a good note...keep searching...hey, try this...a golf match between Lefty and Charles vs Curry and Manning...noon start...BTW, I did see a rerun of one of those types of charity events...and if Pat Perez is on, it is a must watch...a very funny feller...
