In these times of the pandemic...we have searched for diversions...things that bring us UP, not down...we gander at sporting events...music from the tele...seek out the flicks that are out there, too...rekindle our hidden art of cooking...and, perhaps, drinking...ah, is that an art?...well....then, this thing pops up that brings us right DOWN again...one that I have been fearing for a while...an intrusion into Iran...you KNOW trump wants to...has even asked his 'cabinet' about it...now, I am NOT saying that the US had anything to do with it...it is just a scare point...Iran's nuclear mastermind, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was assassinated yesterday, I believe...fingers are being pointed everywhere as to whom did it...of course, the USA is one of those, that are targets...as is, Israel...in fact, their Supreme Leader is calling for REVENGE!...we need to stay close to this story...it shall expand...
All the while, trump keeps spending our money on his frivolous lawsuits to get the VOTE overturned...ANYWHERE...and everywhere...they are all rejected and yet, he keeps popping them out, like popcorn...his further waste of cash, is so evident in his obsession to hit the links...record days on the course...at our cost of something like $141 MILLION DOLLARS!...dude, sit in your little chair, behind your elementary school desk, take out your laptop, and Tweet...yes, I have blocked anything he says now...it means nothing and his time is up...hey, BTW, has anyone seen his personal AG Billy Barr lately?...
Speaking of revenge, on a much different note...the mighty Oregon State Beavers laid one on the Ducks...in the fog...eerie, like it should have been played on Halloween...thoroughly outplayed and out-coached Oregon...man, that's the 2nd time that I have said that about UO in two weeks...the prognostication that the Horse had on this game, was spot on...take the points and the Beavs...and each team, has struggles on D...I did not think that OSU would win, until I watched the fray...and the 2nd half was obvious...that the Beavers DESERVED this one...one sad item, while OSU was celebrating the W, their QB was on the sideline...not doing so...as he got injured in the latter part of it...a last note...this game should always be played at the end of the season, not in the middle of it...
Did you see the golf (?) match between Lefty/Charles and Peyton/Curry?...don't care how bad Charles is, if you have a pro on your team in that sport...you will win...it was the Mickleson show...there needs to be a pro on the other team...still, it was fun...certainly a diversion....not sure if anyone can tell Curry what to do...wonder if that's how he is on the hoop floor?...
As I was moseying to me golf course in the am, yesterday....I gandered at the line outside of the Target store in El Cajon...waiting to get in to grab the sensational Black Friday sale items...ah, yes, er, no...I have no idea what they were...but, they did, and that's what's important...where's the donuts?...
We have switched health insurance companies...OK, a lesson for ya'll...when you get as old as we (sorry, Marsh) are...the Medicare is not enough...so one buys supplementary insurance...so I had to call the one I am on now, and told them that we were canceling them...the agent asked why...I told her that my wife made me do it...she laughed hysterically, and said she understood...
