Happy Holidays!

As our mini fam finally reconnects, the Horse will cease and desist for a few days...actually, we are canceling our trip to Mir-a-Lago....gonna give the greens a chance to weather the beating that I give them...and stay at the SD House the entire vacay....the wife is already there, but is, in transit back here...WAIT!...what am I talking about?...it must be a dream (nightmare) that I am thinking about...got my story all messed up...

Truth is, the kids are to be here and life will be grand...celebrate the Holidays the way we should...and I will not be writing for a few days...yes siree Bob, Merry Christmas...

The initial bit on sarcasm, was in reference to Donny and his cancelation of his trip to Florida...that he is going to stay in DC, to muddle up whatever he hasn't already...rest assured, kids...there is more he can do...and sure, he unleashed a lot of Tweets after me blog posting yesterday...the one that caught my fancy, was in reference to the resignation of the U.S. Envoy in charge of fighting the ISIS blokes...Brett McGurk...who gave it up in defiance of Trump pulling troops from Syria...THE PERSON we have there...and the Tweet by Donny 'I don't even know the guy'...does that scare you even a bit?...

Yes, there is the Shut Down...not sure if he gets it or not...he isn't going to get the $ for his WALL...makes no difference how many Senators he tries to bully, it ain't gonna happen, dude...800, 000 out of jobs, or are, working for free....no skin off Donny's back...as he 'owns it'...just doesn't pay for it...

Let's hope there is a lull in the stuff from the White House for a few days...so, I, too, can take a break...put me fingers at rest...

The collegiate bowl season lives on...fuggit about my predictions, as I have lost more than I have won...er, picked...but, how about the performance of ARMY!...put up 70 points on Houston...what?...with a form of the triple option...nearly an impossible feat...in the whatever bowl, ah, the Armed Forces Bowl...and the crazy finish of the West Forest and Memphis game...no lead was ever safe in the ??? bowl...yea, missed that one, too...

The regular season is winding up in the NFL...my son, is in the finals for the FF championship...and I am last...what?...anyhoo, the mighty Titans of Tennessee kept their playoff hopes alive with a stunning win over the 'Skins...but, Mariota got hurt yet again...whatever a stinger is...there are like a thousand possible ways that the playoffs could be set up...the Chargers looked like the team that I have grown to know in their last eve's loss to the Ravens...got pushed around pretty good (bad?)...I think a lot depends on what the KC Chiefs do today...

Thinking back...did you see Sen Mitch McConnell (Kentucky) talk to the Senate?...about the validity of the Trump Wall...he had to be choking those words out...anything for the Republicans cause...well, the bullying had to be the impetus...he just couldn't believe what he was saying...and what I had heard, was spot on...Donny was asking those who would actually respond to him, that if he, in fact, could FIRE the guy he hired at the end of last year, the FED guy, Jerome Powell...I can't make this crap up...

'The President wants to see you...'...used to be an honor, now it's the indication of getting your walking papers...

Just what is in fruitcake?...

Unbelievable tsunami in Indonesia!...killed at least 222...happened with no alarms...there is terrifying footage of a concert, where the band was carried away...Seventeen...caused by an underwater landslide by a volcanic eruption...all caught by surprise...the numbers are devastating, with another 745 unaccounted for...as I have said often, that the oceans are huge and awesome...to be respected...

Hey, be thankful for what ya'll have...especially your fam and enjoy the times you have...together...as it doesn't happen enough, well, at least for us...

In my list of CD's to try for the Season...give Dean Martin a spin...'Dino's Christmas'...timeless...just gives you a happy feel to the songs...it will be worth the listen...and if you can't get in the mood, then, you CAN'T!...ha ha ha...er, ho ho ho...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
