Chuckles

Wasn't there a clown called 'Chuckles'???...well, good morning, kids...the weekend is a happening...DC has itself a new conservative Judge, imminently...the beisbol playoffs are going to form...Xmas stuff are in stores already...and today, is Game Day...let's go...

The Kavanaugh hearings are done...culminated by the 'in doubt' Repub out of Maine...who got her national claim to fame, her 15 minutes...Susan Collins...in a well orchestrated speech of but a mere 45 minutes on the Senate floor...doing her dangest to show her support for Brett K...that no other has spelled out as well as she did, well, no Republican...and basically, called the accuser, Dr Ford, a LIAR!...under oath, mind you...

I dunno, kids...somebody had to be lying...either Dr Ford or Brett K...and whatever the FBI came up with...that was mysteriously kept in the vault...didn't condemn anyone, I guess...seems odd that the two in question...were not interrogated, er interviewed by the FBI, after the allegations were brought forward...as I have said before, we are witnessing our Republic in action...scare you a bit?...does me...

There were 4 Senators in limbo...so it has been said...one was a Democrat out of West Virginia...that at the conclusion of Ms. Collins speech, he (Joe Manchin) did his own version of supporting the vote FOR Kavanaugh...much to the chagrin of fellow Demos...not hidden thereafter, a most bizarre tweet by Donny Jr...'Lying Joe probably had two speeches up his sleeve, depending on which way Collins voted'...well, to that effect...the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, right?...

So, there you go...the actual vote is today...at least 51-49...if all the blokes take the time to do so....K will be in and Trump has won...and regardless of how the mid-terms go...he will remain in office for the duration....

Other...

In the MLB playoffs...the Bums, Astros, Brew Crew, and the Bosox are winners...and I don't see their opponents beating 'em...thus, it is kind of boring to moi...sorry, Shink, but it's true...the rumor around town is that the Padres will make them (playoffs) next season....well, that's a lie...I made that up...the goal is to be a game higher than SF...hey, but we have a great stadium...so there...

Game Day...the Ducks play bye...SDSU is at the blue field Boise St (is that really a state?)...there should be a ban on anything but green for a field, if you ask me...yes, you are not...the Aztecs are 14 point dogs...WSU at OSU...rain?...not bueno for passing the ball, which the Cougs do almost every play....chance for the Bevos?...Notre Dame at VTech...hmmm, them Irish are good this year...'Bama is fav by 35 over Arkansas...what?...

Time to get your flu shot...hey, I saw that on the Regis and Kelly Show...oops, that is now Ryan and Kelly...dim the lights...last year I did and promptly GOT the flu...first time in forever...the shot and the sickness...wait, is that Kelly and Ryan?...

Me thinks...that this K thang will be a big boost for the Demos in the mid-terms...YUGE...it's a slap in the face for women...and there it is...combustible times ahead...never, have we been so polarized...

When the Apple Co. came out with their iwatch...I got one...like it...had trouble thinking that I could charge it up every night...turns out, that was no problem...and like all of their products...every year they improve 'em...updates and all...they have gotten mighty fancy with the choices of faces for the watch...here's my beef...the latest ones, can't be added to the original watch...of course, mine...

So, needed on any of our trips...is a laptop that Marsh can use...that syncs with her iPhone...yea, you got it...an Apple laptop is the one...which should she get?...there are like 5 out there now...I read up on 'em and got confused...

The building we live in, has a site that one can post things to others...so I did a query...AT&T has installed a line in all of our units, that could replace our present cable system...which is COX...thus, we have a choice...so I asked if anyone has switched over to the newbie...found out that it takes a couple of months, before it will be activated...hmmm, any of you out there use AT&T for your television?...like or dislike?...cost?...

If you want to get out of this awful mess we have in DC...well, the confirmation of a Supreme Court Judge...lets just make it a vote by the people, and not by the Senators...yes, I have said this before...but, why not?...it's the way it's done on the state level....

Has this not been the fastest 6 days?...October has always been a speedy month...why is that?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
