Morning, kids...how's the week been for ya'?...here at the home front, we have finally settled in...adjusted to the time zone and all...the little lady has been working all hours and me?...yes, still between jobs...it's been like purnt near 17 years or so...the right one hasn't come along...

Back in DC...the vote on the Kavanaugh Confirmation is to take place today...our 100 Senators have his fate at their disposal...call me the eternal OPTIMIST, but I am holding out for some crossover voting...and making Trump go back to the drawing board...the REALIST in me, sees that the Republicans will be afraid of the backlash of that, and will be intimidated into staying on party lines...he WILL be confirmed, until....the mid-terms...when the Democrats take back the Senate...there you go, OPTIMISM over REALISM...and then, the present regime will face that nasty term...IMPEACH...stay tuned for the November vote...

Tom 'Terrific' Brady threw his 500th touchdown pass last nite in the win versus the Colts...3rd to do so...longevity and ability, right?...at the age of 41, he has both of those...still, I am amazed at the lack of 'genius' in the defensive schemes in all of football, regardless of the level....Brady sat back and picked apart the zone...nary an all out blitz...this is the norm...RUSH THE PASSER!...with more than 3 or 4 blokes...who at 290+ lbs are dog tired...

Protests...the rage of the sixties and seventies...will be resurrected this year and next...people are fed up with the obvious male bias...that Trump exudes and pompously trots about extorting to all his 'followers'...I just can't believe he gets away with what he gets away with...however, his time will come...the wall will fall, with him on it...evil always does...and when it does, there will be 'dancing in the streets...'

Martha and the Vandellas...BTW, an odd bit that struck us...in the Carole King 'Musical' Show...there was nervous laughter, as she and her co-hort, Gerry Goffin, composed a song...were singing it, then the stage changed and the Drifters emerged and sang the same song...the black group...hinted at...well, there was nervous laughter...written this way?...and the same thing happened a bit later, when the black gals group, the Chiffons, emerged...'One Fine Day'...I dunno, it was uncomfortable...

Follow the money...recall the Arizona hoops coach scandal?...the day has come and it's in court...a hint of what's to come...but, a prospect and his daddy, were offered hundreds of thousands of dollars to sign with certain colleges...the list is building...the names doing the offering are highly known, the coaches are still coaching...and the process used, has been revealed...so, now what will happen?...the hint is that it is wide spread, throughout the collegiate world...let's use allegedly...

Brett Kavanaugh....wrote his own OP-ED, to try to clean up his act at the Senate hearings...referring to his nonjudicial rants...that he should have been more in control...duh...you are right, Brett...and, oh by the way, to say that you would be NOT PREJUDICIAL and biased is another...NON-TRUTH!...yup, you probably will be chugging a bunch of your beloved beers tonight...in celebration...hey, call up Donny and go out and hustle chicks, too...Melania is outta town...yes, I am very cynical right now...

The latest in stores a closing?...this just out...Mattress Firm...700+ of them...hmmm, doesn't that affect the percent of people losing jobs?...the government just told us that the numbers are dropping of the unemployed...not sure if I believe that stat...

You beisbol junkies...your teams still in it?...mine is not...of course, the Padres were eliminated 2 months ago...it would be fitting if Cleveland wins, and Brad Hand gets a ring...

We have this odd looking thing, falling from the sky...anyone know what it is?...it resembles, gulp, like bits of water.....could it be...rain?...
