Finally Friday

Morning, ya'll...seems like it never gets to this day...well, when I was a working, that is...I digress...still, it's my favorite one of the seven...really...how about you?...we have lots to talk about, so let's get going...

Game number 4 in the NBA Finals...and it could be the last of the set...as the Cleveland Cavs have to find a way to get a victory...adjust their defense, to throw confusion in the eyes of them Warriors...in lieu, I mean by Ty Lue (the Cav HC), er, trying the doubling of Durant...may lead to easy buckets to the ever efficient motion O that Golden St uses...sooooo...listen Ty, double some, fake it some, put LeBron on KD some...mix it up...and then hope beyond hope, that Curry and Thompson are clanging their shots...and...then they have to get the calls...ALL the calls...hmmm, let's not go there...

 Oh yea...the all telling point spread on the game?...4 1/2, the LOWEST of the series...

Shocking news out of France...the very popular cooking guy, Anthony Bourdain...dead by apparent suicide!...very sketchy information thus far...but, as I said yesterday, I have no idea why one would exit this world that way...life is too precious...look at most news sites, and you will get more of what happened...

So...what's with Coke putting names on their bottles?...here is a pix from the one we bought on our bike ride yesterday...any clue?...

One more day...before the Triple Crown finals...the Belmont Stakes...can Bob Baffert's trained horse, Justify, win it?....the mile and a half race is the undoing of many...I will put a 10 spot on him...and then hope...

We did see the CMT Awards Show, which we had taped, last night...have you seen it?...clearly, in my eyes, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood are at the top of their game...and of this music field...the mass of peops in Nashville, was invigorating...we go to LowBroad where most of that video was shot...it is the Vegas of the South, without the gambling...maybe we will go during the football season...catch a Titans game...and a concert or two...October or November...

I was reading some article about the changing school menus over time...which brought back memories of my second grade...ah ha...where are you going with this, Horse?...I had in me mini-brain, back then...that it would be a real treat to get to go and have a 'hot lunch'...instead of staying in the room, with the sack lunch kids...the plate lunch...looked dang good, as I recall...but, it had peas...which I could NOT eat...and the teacher there, would have to LOOK at your finished plate, before excusing you...send you BACK to the eating area, if there was food on your plate...that was it for me, I NEVER had another 'hot lunch' in grade school again...yup, I stuck them peas in the milk carton and ran like hell...

You a hockey dude or babe?...the Stanley Cup, awarded to the finals winner...was earned by the Washington (DC) Capitals...beat the expansion Las Vegas Team...that, in itself, is a story...getting to the finals, as a first year team...no, I am not a follower...of the sport...

Our lovable Padres are embarking on a ten game roadie...commencing in Miami...this is a true test to our new and improved product...right?...then back for a 2 game home stand, then off on another road trip...just an awful schedule...who does these, anyway?...

Speaking of commencement...it's graduation time...all around the US...proud parents everywhere...and the moment of self gratification for the student...'I did it!'...but, I don't get this...middle school graduation...really?...

And this...so much talk about the NBA...where LeBron James is going to land next season...La La Lakers, or Philly, or stay in Cleveland?...maybe join his good buddy, CPIII, in Houston...let's see, he and the Beard together?...think James is upset with his present teammates about defense, he has NO idea what he would get into with Hardin...who plays a permanent zone D...the newest?...that he could sign on with the Warriors...what?...can't imagine the commish allowing that...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
