Some times it's just right to sit back...and take in what you have, where you are, and how happy your life is...hopefully, you do this today...and...is there a better song than that of the legendary Johnny Mathis, "Wonderful! Wonderful!"?...perfect...now do this and pour yourself a cup of Joe...find that vinyl, CD, cassette, or the song on iTunes...and enjoy the moment...OK, now you are in the proper mood to read the Horse...

Lordy, I have to start with them Padres...sailing along thru five innings getting no hit...that's right...have no hits...and then, 'Boom!'...a walk, a triple, a double, then back to back dingers...that"ll do it...a big W against the league leading Rockies...and the former Mgr, Buddy Black...sweetness and this team continues to mature...baby steps, kids, baby steps...

Yes, I am in a fantasy baseball league...and yes, I am in first place...I am loaded with front line pitching, unlike the aforementioned Pads...ha ha...whatever...are you in one of these leagues?...kind of cool, as it keeps you going all summer long...hey, a great name for a song...the Beach Boys...

NBA...some fun games last night...Boston rode the hot shooting of tiny Isaiah Thomas...53 points worth...got it in OT...BTW, their opponent, Washington, had a great shot at the buzzer to win...and...are woefully coached...speaking of coaching...the Warriors Steve Kerr is still out...but GS, methodically beat the Jazz at home in Alameda...Utah will win games to make this series a tester...they, are well coached...does it matter in the NBA?...I think so...

Your fav late night comedian, CBS's Letterman replacement, Stephen Colbert...continues his rant on Prez T...has crossed over a comedic line to downright vulgarity...he is NOT funny...and there is a groundswell to get his arse fired...hip hip...check out the reason on any source not funded by CBS...

The Repubs have re-emerged with another health care bill...to replace Obamacare...I think the key element is...if there is a provision for 'pre-exiting medical conditions'...if so, they will get the votes and it will be passed...

Your 2nd place candidate for the Prez...Ms Clinton...has been working the speech circuit...gave some reasons for her failed effort...even went on to say, that if the vote was in October, she would be in the White House...hmmm, really?...I think when the DC sabotaged their own party, THAT was the beginning of the loss...the common person Demo stayed away from the voting places...in droves...sorry Hillary, makes no difference whether it was October or November...you were doomed...

Ah yes, the Horse turned back political...dang...the worm turned...and I was feeling so good...wait, that Hillary is NOT Prez...I am back being happy...shoot, I am an independent...I can feel like this if I wanna...

Am I missing something, but I have not seen the post positions of the Derby...which is way critical to the race...have to think about getting the DRF....that is the Daily Racing Form...yup, things to do...

For your constant enjoyment...the FBI Director, James Comey, gets the Q's thrown at him by the Senate Committee...on right now...do you not find it odd, that the questioners have taken millions of bucks thru lobbyists and they, make that THEY, are debating 'ethics'?...I call it absurd...

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
