Padres Shake Down

Morning kids...finally a bit cooler around here in the GQ...which really is a welcome relief...well...it is the off season for the losers...what am I talking about?...the Padres...as they try to find a way to get out of the cellar...which is a norm for this organization...

So...the San Diego Padres did a shake up, er, down...by releasing their Prez and one of his subordinates...Mike Dee...they didn't say "fire"...strange, but what isn't with this team?...gonna go yet another...new...direction...how about getting rid of the foo, Ron Fowler?...and certainly the GM that Dee hired a couple of years ago, Trader AJ Preller...currently serving a month long suspension for stuff...ha ha...

Fact is...we have way below average pitching...until this is settled, we are the basement dwellers...regardless of who is the club's boss...more to come?...

A doozie in the nation's capitol...beisbol...where the Bums and the Nats play a winner take all and advance...today...love the one and done games...don't you?...

Politics...ah yes...it's pretty much all about the Donald...currently we are in the "groping" accusations mode...does this sound anything like the Bill Cosby thinger?...don't think so...however, those who feel like he was a doer, are coming out of the woodwork...

CNN appears to be the front runner on this...and...they are showing their true colors of the Demos...too bad...as I think that the moderators, er newscasters...should be impartial...but the women ones...can't hold back their disgust...doubt if anything that Hillary does compares to what they are finding...about Trump...

You still watch Survivor?...apply this to the politics...and I think that the Donald gets voted off the island...wait...the current show is all about "blindsides"...happens every week, so it seems...one of the best shows on the pixels...

Sports...the SDSU Aztecs travel to Fresno St to play them Bulldogs...remember when they were a powerhouse?...when Rich Hill guided 'em...some foo fired him and they have been terrible ever since...they are 1-5 this season...but, beware of overconfidence...we will go to another game this year...maybe I should throw this by Marsh first....I will...

Felt great to get out to the links yesterday...played decent...and am looking forward to the T on Saturday...we have a best 3 of 4 scores count...on each hole...fun team game...BTW, we had some locker room banter yesterday...nope, nuttin like the Donald's...

Hey...out at the Q tonite...the Bolts host the Broncos...who are starting the QB out of Memphis...Paxton Lynch...oops...this just out...the Siemian dude is back...the Chargers are self imploders...find ways to lose games...weird...you'd think that at this level of players in the NFL, it wouldn't be so...but it is...

Weird...the KK jewel heist investigation carries on...the French police, headed by Inspector Clouseau, have gone to the tapes...you know who Skip Bayless is?...sports talkie bloke on the pixels...claims that Jessica Simpson ruined Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo...ha ha ha ha ha...me thinks he ruined himself, without the aide of any blonde...didn't he date Carrie, too?...hmmm, maybe he is onto something after all...the doom of the blondes...a great title for a book..."Doom Blondes"...get it?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
