Fess up, kids...how many of you have ever been in INDIANA?...the supposed birthplace of the hoop world...hmmm...doubt that...anyway...this is the state that now has the distinction of doing the decided declaration of the Donald...now THAT'S alliteration...if all goes as the polls say, this vote today would eliminate Raffy and Lucy...which would be just fine for moi...

The Hoosier state...home of many pro teams...the NBA Pacers, the NFL Colts, the MLB oops, nuttin here...the WNBA Fever...hmmm...and even more colleges...Indiana, Indiana St, Notre Dame, Purdue, Butler, Ball St, Valparaiso, and others...in that tiny little piece of the USA!...you'd think with all them schools that the Bern would have the advantage...hmmm, don't think so...close, but it's the Hilz...

You see the finish of the Spurs/Thunder game?...wack job...as the officials swallowed their whistle...on a bizarre inbounds play...where the inbounder elbowed the defender out of the way...what?..no call...then threw it away...and the Spurs frantically tried to win the game with desperate heaves...lots of commotion and bewilderment...the refs admitted after that they blew it...so sorry...anyway, OKC won and tied the series up at 1 each...more of the same to come, I spoze...

The Pads won game 1 versus the Rockettes...2-1...even with some crucial non-scoring opps...the D and the pitching held up...especially sharp was the ancient closer, Rodney...geez, did Shields finally get a W?...any win is a good win for this crew...ha ha...take a look at the records in our division...the leaders are .500...what?...

The Met Gala...where the pretty people dress up for the event...it's another of them major hooplas...and, of course, countless pix taken...and...the media rates the best and the worst...the clear cut loser was your gal, Madonna...with the most atrocious of all getups...you must see this to believe it...talk about age appropriate...or inappropriate...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
