The NBA acted quickly and appropriately...I guess...in giving the lifetime ban to former (?) Clipper owner, Donald Sterling (Tokowitz)...fining him $2.5 million...and waiting on a vote by the other owners, to force him to sell the team...I am smelling a court fight...this just can't be this easy...I fear the telephone entrapment, or illegal taping of a private conversation will come into play...AND...if the owners find reasonable clause to support they guy, the league's players will be in a revolution mode...stay tuned...it's not over...

The team sighed a huge amount of release...and played with heart and won the game versus GS...and go up 3-2 in the series...very hard on all of the players and coaches in the this sport...and for all the hullabaloo about the strength of the Chi Bulls, they got bopped out in the 1st round...how close can it get for the Grizzles...as the tip in for OKC (Soopersonics)...was a hair late...good match, by the way...and tonight...PDX can close out the Rockets in Houston...hmmm...but, the Blazers are 5 1/2 point dogs...

Speaking of the line...the Pads are always dogs...makes no diff where they play...last night gave up a leadoff HR and that was it...as they got shut out in SF...another odd lineup put out there by the manager...and today Erlin goes....fresh from a 8 run shellacking...eegads...all players need helmets on when he pitches...

Why the intruder question? The answer is: it depends on which state you are in. Many southern states have stand your ground laws, which means you can shoot someone anywhere if you can prove you were threatened.It doesn't matter if you you could escape, go ahead and shoot.In the more sane parts of our country you can defend yourself with force that is appropriate for the situation. The burden of proof in any self defense is on the accused to prove they acted reasonably given the circumstances. Home invasions tend to get more sympathy from judge and juries, because its our safe place. However, if an 8yr old busts into your house at night you don't get to shoot him unless he's got a gun or you are in the middle of sex. The sex has to be with another person. In the south you can shoot him, especially if he's black.
It seems in this country the #1 concern is Money, #2 Sex. #3 Guns #4. Religion #5 Health. Many people are more concerned about defending their property and self with guns than cancer heart disease or accidents. Dumb!
