And this may be the worst ever...well, since I have been here...talking the punchless Padres...as this time...they got shut out...and lost 5-0 to the Marlins...to secure 2 out of 2 series defeats...there just isn't much here offensively...really...only the two Miami grads may start and play elsewhere...Alonso and Grandal...and for goodness sakes, please get the inept Headley out of the 3rd hitting slot...he is a disaster...and is the WURST at that spot in the Bigs...baseball qualifies as having TV heroes, right?...

You know how this goes...if it continues the same pattern...you can't move all the players, so the head of the ship is removed...and the days of the Buddy are numbered....or risk all time lows in attendance...and you KNOW, the GM and owners won't blame themselves...hoping for a miracle today...

Played out at Sycuan yesterday...and witnessed something that I had never, ever seen live...Gary, one of my guys in my group, had the most impressive 6 holes ever....EVER!...numbers 7-12...this is a true story...he holed out a 7 iron on 7 for an eagle...then went birdie-birdie-birdie (one inch from holing out again)-par-birdie...OMG!...but, I got most of the other skins and only lost 9-8...

Had a splendid dinner at Donovan's last eve...outside of a very noisy table next to us...geez, it seems to be our mantra...Marsh had pan seared halibut and I had boneless rib eye....which rivals Ruths Chris...the maitre d bought us an appetizer, as he knew and has worked with M...very cool...couldn't even come close to finishing our food...and then went to a Wedding Reception of one of her co-workers...at the Andaz...rooftop...and we were the oldest there by 30 years....eegads...another mantra thinger...

Matt Kuchar...am really watching him...as he is leading the Shell in Houston...a real shot at next week's Masters...

How about at the Dinah in Palm Springs?...two US gals...Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson...in the mix and tied...if Lexi could putt, she would be number one...everywhere...lurking is veteran Christie Kerr...should be a beaut of a finish...goodness, I lurve it there...

Cris and Leila got themselves an Acura SUV...from all reports, it's a grand vehicle...good on them...they travel a bunch...and is a great ride...

Bet on this hoss out at SA...California Chrome...a huge possible for the Derby...and won a million dollar race yesterday....and won very easily...write that name down...

The NBA is closing out it's regular season...and especially in the west...spots 5-8 are up for grabs...I think this is the final week...saw your Blazers do something diff on the high pick...really?...they switched it...which was what their former coach, Nate McMillan, did...ha ha...hedge it you foos!...
