Da Good Guys

Finally, the good guys, er, gals won!...the final pairing at the Dinah
was between two real nice people...Lexi Thompson (19 and the winner) and Michelle Wie (runner-up)...both hit the ball a ton...both played quickly...both have had putting issues in the past...and now are on track to be major players for the rest of the season...it was fun watching...and I say GREAT SHOW by the LPGA in Palm Springs...and so interested...as they both swing their irons like I have been...3/4...lurved it...

And over on the guy's side...they had weather issues in Texas....ah hem, Houston we have a problem...and showed us common folk the broadcast on tape delay...and then I got disinterested...but did see the collapse of Matty Kuchar on the 18th...up 2 and breezing...and did the unpro thing...hit an approach in the agua...when he was to be playing it safe...and ended up in a playoff...and lost to a chip in...eegads...and off he goes from my Master's list...have no idea who the bloke is that one...but he is another Aussie...man, are they hot or what?...and finally...lost in the goofiness of the delayed stuff and all....Rory shot a closing 65....sixty five!...

Ping ping ping...it is being said that the missing plane's pinger has been found...like on the bottom of the Indian Ocean...is that a body of water off of the coast of Florida?...I mean, the Indians are in the US of A, right Christopher C?....I digress...

CMA's...ah yes...the country blokes get awards in Vegas...the hosts were good...kind of funny...and the idea of no lip syncing may be a good idea if the singers could sing on key...ha ha...2 odd ones...Miranda Lambert won best gal...never, ever, sings on key...and the entertainer of the year was given to Geo Strait...hmmm...see above...not my choices...but, these award thingers are almost never who would I give them to...

Cris and Leila...did you see the violence that erupted in your area...at UCSB?...tear gas and all...spring break melee....Del Topia?...

Hold da phone...the Pads won...the Pads won...the Pads won...as the diminutive pinch hitting power hitter (?) Alexi Amarista, hit a tater and the SDers won a game...it was his birthday to boot...we travel to Cleveland to take on their version of the Indians...ping ping ping...as the road trip continues...

Watched Survivor...as one of them cops got booted...in a blindside...ha ha...can't play both sides kids...the whole premise is that of being evil, backstabbing, lying, and cheating...ah yes, the winner will become senator of his or her home state...

Call me old fashion...but the likes of Martina McBride, Sara Evans, and Carrie Underwood are far superior to any of the ridiculous acts that are getting awards...Florida Georgia Line and the perfectly awful and so nasally Hunter Hayes...I don't get it!...

I have enough time to get my golf bag cleaned up...before my Bozo trip...get the right balls in...back up glove...the right tees...a good assortment of cigars...fill up my lighters...clean my clubs...3 pairs of sox...3 golf towels...charge my Garmin wrist watch...sunglasses...flask...markers...3 caps...check check check...off to Borrego Springs with 24 blokes...never been there...

And the final stretch run in the NBA...PDX but a game out of 4th...and yet, haven't clinched a spot...there's about 5 games left...the Heat and the Pacers in the east have been Kucharing it lately...and gives all the teams in that half a glimmer of hope...

Who you have tonight?...Kentucky or Connecticut?...you can make a case either way...the line is the Wildcats by 2 1/2...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
