Brawl-ball

Throw at me?...naw, I have had enough...the Pads in another come from behind game...this time with the hated Dodgers...as their newly acquired fat cat of a pitcher, Zach Greinke, is mowing us down...who, with the ridiculous unparalleled way of spending in MLB, can buy whomever they want...has the audacity to throw at our best hitter, Carlos Quentin...a feat that many of the other pitcher blokes do...an easy way to get around our only true pop in the bat...AND...here's the rub...the score was 2-1, and it was a full count...LA Manager Mattingly, calls the next act stupid...actually calls Quentin stupid...as  Q knows nothing about baseball...like it's unintentional what his pitcher did...sure...the fact is...he hits him in the upper shoulder...my calculation is that the shoulder is close to the head...not to mention that Greinke has hit Q now, for the 3rd time...Mattingly says that he dives into pitches to get hit...yea, right..."everyone knows that"...OK, I've set the stage...

Q walks toward the mound a step...naturally in my mind, as you collect yourself...then go to 1st and accept the blow to your body...EXCEPT this time...Greinke said something to Q...it looked like "c'mon!"...well duh...that's all it took...Q went after him...

Here's my beef...you have these skinny little pitcher blokes who can throw the ball at you at 90 mph+ and you are supposed to absorb that?...the NORM in baseball is to retaliate by throwing at their best guy the next inning or two...and eventually, there will be a dugout clearing event...and then...this goes on all year...

This time...however...Q and Greinke collide...and Zach gets the worst of it..."c'mon" was not the best thing he could or should have said...he suffers a broken collar bone...and the Dodgers are hopping mad because of it...their newly acquired million dollar pitcher is on the DL...

It's a brutal part of the game...the pitcher hitting a batter...there will be suspensions handed out...most likely the most severe to Q...I think there should be one for Mattingly for his "stupid" comments...

Oh, by the way, the Pads go to LA and play this same Dodger team on Monday...seems like a real good time to bring up Kyle Blanks...if you know what I mean...

I will bet you that ESPN carries that game...

 Shoot, I didn't even mention that Sergio is leading the Masters...what a great story...lot of guys lurking...all the normal ones...Tiger and Lefty a few back...today will be tougher...as you know, when the times get tougher, the tough get so too...or something like that...

Finally, we may not have won the game...but the brawl has ignited us...!

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
