Good Monday

Morning kids...I was thinking about all the negative crap I could write about to start the week...but why do that?....the last thing you want to see is the downers, right?...so let's get upbeat and live and love a little...

The biggest deal that a pro golfer can do is qualify for the Masters...a place that I have yet been...and there were a bunch of blokes trying like the dickens to get there in the last event prior to it at the Vallero Open...and out of nowhere came Martin Laird, a Scotsman...with a closing 63...and got the win and the trip to Augusta...albeit a very slow player...oops, stay positive CH...and also, fast closing, was Rory...who got 2nd...and is my pick for the Master's winner...

Academy of Country Music Awards...in Vegas...you know my feeling about the voting in all of these things...mostly bizarre...but what I like about this version is the number of singers who actually sing...standouts...to me...were Carrie Underwood, the Band Perry, Lady A, and Little Big Town...who just get better and better...

The Louisville Gals pulled off a stunner!...I am just so happy for that group...as the Umatilla kids led the Cards to a semi-final win over Cal...and meet the perennially tough Connecticut hoopsters....do they have one more trick up their sleeve?...

The guys play for their title tonight...the other Louisville team...versus Michigan...favored by 4...and I fear it will be more of a Card dominance...their full court pressure the difference...

LPGA...Inbee Park...South Korea...smoked the field with absolutely the best putting I have seen...by anyone...knocked 'em in from all over...long, middle, and short...who came in 2nd?...another South Korean, Se Yeon Ryu......the gal's 1st major in the desert...

The Padres...how in the heck can I keep this pos?...losing 9-1, being swept by the Rockies, limping home 1-5...well...it's a day off...nobody got injured...the season has to get better...they looked good in their outfits (Marsh's line)...they are at home...that last week is over...

The Clips destroyed the Lake Show...and took over LA...and put a major dent in the Laker's quest for the playoffs...as Utah won and took over number 8...this is a good thing...with the Clips win, they won the Pacific Division...and...SWEPT THE LAKERS!...

This was mostly positive, right?....got to find that latest LBT CD...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
