The Casbah

It's Thursday, right?...well...we went to a friendly little night club last night and took in a concert...at the Casbah...smoke free...and the music is real loud, kids...been there once before...it's a short little cab ride...maybe like 8-10 minutes...went with our Pinnacle friends, the Allens...the group we went to see?...Clairy Browne and the Bangin Rackettes...really...this is Marsh's find...I have heard them on CD...well...it's a great show...Aussies, I believe...and have a 6 man band with a 3 gal backup singing group, the Bangers...it is non-stop action and fun...check 'em out on iTunes....

Did finish watching the Idol show...Candace won the night...Angie be 2nd...Lazaro was absolutely dreadful and should be gone...however...he's the only guy left, which could spell doom for one of the gals...as who would all the female voters, vote for?...but, he is soooo bad, maybe they won't go that way...let's hope...

Pads lost game no. 2 with the Dodgers...actually played OK...still...we have to have more fire power...bright light?...C Hundley was 4-4...promise on the horizon...prohibitive dogs tonight...

The Masters starts today...we don't get any TV until noon for it...on ESPN...in my little bet, I have to have Luke Donald stay afloat and make the cut...he's playing with Tiger...let's hope he is up to the challenge...

Back in little Salem, Oregon...an upsetting thing...and I hope it's not the parents making the dog bark...as the West Salem High Hoop Coach was fired...weird, as they just had the best record ever in the school's brief history...and he is a stand up guy...something about game management?...geez, I would have been gone many times...poo to the whole thing...

I may not be playing the best golf since I got sickly, but I am sure enjoying it a lot...my timing is off...but that's to be expected, right?...

PDX played aggressively and with passion...yet they lost to the Lake Show...geez, I hope that Utah figures it out and gets the 8th spot...

 The desert is calling out our name...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
