Election Day

Finally, FINALLY!, it is here...Election Day...the country will decide who is their leader for the next 4 years...that is, if there is enough electorates in the Electoral College...just may have to go to the House of Reps, otherwise...and there will be tales of voter fraud, hanging chads, voter intimidation, and on and on...by the loser(s)...yup, this is big business...with billions of $ spent to get their candy man elected...it's not a perfect system, but I haven't heard of a better one...so...

you may find this hard to believe...but, I am OK with either guy...don't get me wrong, my vote is for Obama...but, Mitt is a decent man...and if the country says it should be him, so be it...don't think it will...so, dust off the TV screen and embed yourself...we, by our new tradition, will head down to the Gaslamp Strip Club ( for you not in the know, its a grill your own NY steak eatery) for a meal and drinks, just like we did 4 years ago...

The sublime...Dancing With The Stars...doesn't it seem like Kirstie has finally ran her course?...the fan vote is huge...witness, the judge's leader last week (Sabrina) getting booted...must be a coalition of somebodies carrying her through to the next round...

Costco has absolutely the best halibut...we take it, bread it, and I cook it on my barbecue deck...add a baker, a great salad, and a bottle of fine vintage wine...and you have a perfect din din...

You die hard Duck fans...there is an article in today's Trib about this very successfull high school QB coach, in the area...the bloke's name?...Akili Smith...

Andrew Luck, the real deal?...take a look at how well the Colts are doing...5-3...and he is reviving that group...if you go back, you'll see CH had him as a can't miss....I'm just saying...

Please, please, stop the political ads NOW...the mayor race here is absolutely brutal...I don't like either bloke...and they just rip each other a new one every day...

And the Cowboys are struggling yet again...throw in that the owner, Jerry Jones, was locked out of the locker room after their latest defeat...and that he just endorsed his coach, Jason Garrett...he's gone...ha ha...bring in Sean Payton, I think...wait, how about Payton at SD?...naw, we have Norvy for life...

LiLo is to be charged for lying about one of her many car accidents...geez young lady, aren't you on probation?...doesn't bode well for staying out of the clinker...again...what a mess...

Reading this book about "The Panther"...OMG, what a great and fast read...filled with some great insight on the CIA, er, something like that...it is a novel...but...get it...

Rain...what?...yup, there is rain (showers) in the forecast for Friday and Saturday...what?...means we are going to drop like 20* in a few days...boooooo....

If you are looking at dark horses in the NBA...try the Timberwolves on for size...Rick Adelman is the coach...and they have quite the roster of vets...and the ever improving Love, who is injured right now...

And the PG from Portland...he is a good one...the last time that PDX had a quality one?...been a looooong time...Lillard...++++

The Beavers are ranked ahead of Stanford, yet are 5 point dogs to them....hmmmm...Ducks are 27 1/2 points on Cal...why the half point?...the most interesting game of the week?...TCU and Kansas St...if the KSU QB can't go, the Horny Frogs have a great shot...

Cal seems to be a wreck. The Ducks only have 1 starting Def. Lineman healthy this week. They will have to burn a redshirt to fill in as backup. If these guys don't get healthy by Stanford and OSU, all bets are off.

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
