The Concert Season

As the spring time gets into full swing around here, my job is to line up the concerts that we are going to attend...and part of the game of it, is to get the tix as early as possible....the rundown, so far...
Crosby, Stills, and Nash....at Humphrey's by the bay...absolutely, the greatest venue as it is open air, smallish (2000) peops, and close by...we've seen them 5 or 6 times and still is a step back into the late 60's and 70's and is groovy...
Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum....at Cricket in Chula Vista...a huge, partially covered arena, that is a bit much to get to...15-20 minutes...really looking forward to Lady A as the groove they have is the most current...Need You Now...and Tim is great and a bunch of fun...
Dianna Ross...back at Humphrey's....1st time for us to see her...curious if she's going to do some old Supremes stuff...got these as soon as they came out and figure they would sell for double now...naw, we are going...
The Beach Boys...at Humphrey's...have seen the Love version many times and also the Wilson one...prefer the Love...and now they have youngins sing the high stuff, but ML still does his...rockin and cool....and always a great time...
Sheryl Crow...at Humphrey's...originally a slow show, not now...kind of depends on her mood, and saw her out at a casino a couple of years ago and she was worth the drive...
Carrie Underwood...undoubtedly the best concert I have ever gone to...and I hear it's got better...at the Sports Arena, which I really like....great sound...and the price is not as steep as many of the stars out there...if you haven't gone you are missing out big time...
As the summer goes on we pick up shows that emerge....we will see LeeAnn Rimes, and some old British Rock group....leaning towards the Doobies...
I am getting dumb, as I think I have forgotten one...dumb, I tell you...
