Just watched the Woodstock movie...like the setup one...very nice...check it out...
After this past week in the NFL fugget about picking the winners in the upcoming games...the Bolts have secured the No. 2 spot and it is awesome...Monday night doozie last eve as Bret lost finally...or is that, finally lost...
The Gaslamp Sun is the champ! (Me)...beat all the young bucks...
The Trib does a real nice thing with the high schools scholar athletes...puts a big spread on them in a big paper...why can't the smaller ones do the same?
There are a boat load of Huskers running around the Q...by the way, you can rest now about the lack of the Neb band...it has been remedied...looks like there is a Neb high school band already in San Diego, and they are going to perform the duties of the older generation...
Looks like the Texas Tech coach had his own way to handle concussions...what is that all about...anyway he picked on the wrong kid...Craig James's...I'm pretty much lost on all of this...why?
And today the announcement of the pro bowl teams...they don't want to go, but love the accolades...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
