So it is tied going to the final day of the Ladie's Solheim Cup...leading off for the US is none other than Paula Creamer going against Europe's Suzanne Petterson...great match to start the day off...it's on the golf channel and tune it in for splendid drama...
Michele Wie has really turned the corner on becoming the next "it " in golf, either guys or gals...sorry Tiger fans, but it is true...
The building of the new Padres has taken a positive turn with the signing of veteran 2B David Eckstein...a solidifier amongst the youngins running around Petco...the Pads got whupped yesterday to the Cards and Cris Carpenter 7-0...a lot of buzz to getting the Gold Glove for 3B Kooz...who only has 3 errors for the season, leading the Major Leagues for this stat...just what does it take to win this award?
The Bolts beat the other Cards 17-3 and showed very little...
Remember a couple of years back on American Idol? Oregon's own Kristy Lee Cook was a final 10 contestant and did just fine...well, she released a CD and it is good! You must give it a listen...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
