Makes no Diff


We gots the cold...and we figure it makes no difference if we are sick here or there...so we travel on...yesterday was the Santa Cruz bay front...3 roller coasters....?....surprisingly not slammed with people...this must be the ‘go to’ place for the San Franciscans...it’s been 40 years since we passed through here...the area has grown so much...remind me so much of the Oregon coast...not at all like SD’s...maybe the cold has something to do with that...

Stopped at a True Value and did buy a space heater.....such a smart purchase...we were toasty warm last nite...first time we have dealt with that need...usually just the opposite, trying to stay cool...travels...

This KOA has many cabins, too...lots of folk checked into them yesterday...gosh, this place reminds me of Bend sooooo much...the trees and all...so spread out...can’t believe how often I wear a stocking cap...

That earthquake deaths...keeps increasing, what now?...41,000?...horrific...now, just posted 44,000!

The Mich St killings...filled the airwaves as we try to figure out why...it just keeps happening...over and over...and over...

This RV world...so many different rigs...needs and desires...

How many times have ads in Facebook hooked you?...are they ever real?...

The one thing I really miss...faculty meetings...the dumb arse questions that some asked...at every school...the hour and half that I could never get back...one of the reasons I coached...ha ha...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
