3 Weeks


Takes a boatload of planning...to get in a class B RV, and meander about the west coast....all the way up to the great state of Oregon....kudos to the Boss Lady for the organization of it all!...as we are on the last leg of the excursion...back to San Diego...three weeks of a journey...

It is not easy...the driving, in particular....the wrong turns...the delays...the hook ups and tear downs...the repetition of that...what to cook, when it is 107* outside...the timing when we can arrive at a RV site....petrol at or about $4 a gallon...

However, it is all worth the efforts...mostly fun...the object to see our amigos in our old home town....the terrific props in Bend....a blast was had...yes, we were guests...and treated thusly...and we did depart before started to smell...I think...the dawg, Sammi, was beyond great....

NY Guv Cuomo did resign...why didn’t trump?....the infrastructure bill passed...won’t wonders never cease...

The hardest thing to do on these trips?...showering...2nd hardest?...dumping the latrine...Boss Lady does this...reluctantly...3rd ?...parking the rig...albeit, not as hard as a class A or a trailer....

The mighty Padres won again...one at a time ....

Gotta get rolling...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
