Monday Decaf

It's a beautiful morning here in the hood...GQ, that is...the temp is back to normal...and have a couple of days of golf coming up...which may or may not be a good thing...

Say it isn't so...the mighty Pats of NE lost their 2nd consecutive game...what?...at home...to of all teams, the embattled Chip's Eagles...go figure the NFL...the Pats do have a whole gaggle of injuries to their wide outs...and their star TE...but it was their special teams and their D that played so poorly...

Eery pix of the San Bernardino killers coming back to the US at O'Hare in Chicago...I know Prez O, you don't want us to typecast people...but... their appearance strikes fear in all of us...like I said last week, we must, I repeat MUST, restrict who we allow to travel in and out of our country...investigate...better...and we are to believe, that none of the people around them had no knowledge...ie, the mother who lived with them?...give me a break...

The Grammy's...Taylor Swift is nominated in most all of the possibles she can be in...7 nominations...hmmm...don't get me wrong...she is a great talent...however, her voice is not of the elite...whatever...she appears to be a good kid...and looking at the rest of the possibles, she may be the best of that lot...ha ha...

My gamble on the Holiday Bowl pooped out...it's USC vs Wisconsin...dang...the Ducks are going to Texas and play TCU...hmmm, back to the Lone Star...not me...anyway, I have 4 tix to the Trojan game...may put them on Stub Hub...they are great seats in the lower level...

The trek to find vinyl yesterday turned out to be a gem...as I found 21...21!!!...at a 2nd hand store going out of biz...to be torn down for yet, another condo...we lead the nation in the building of them....prime spot on University Ave...anyway, got some Sinatra, Boz, CSN, Mathis...and others...all for $50 bucks...way cool...

College hoops...SDSU and USD had a cross town battle over at the baseball park, Petco...put a basketball court on the field...worked out well for baby blue...who rarely beat the Aztecs...but did...with a newbie coach...only in SD...outdoors...hmmm...

This is totally local stuff...the Trib writer, Nick Canepa...swears by the Pad's GM AJ...but...everyone else is making moves...and I never see much of Preller's...if we only get the bloody 2nd hand (there that is again) mates, we will be just that...2nd level...over and over...

8 days until the next Repub Debate...should be a doozy...don't you think?...but guys and gal, please don't lump Prez O with Hilz...she is just like you...a wannabe...

I did not yet comment about the Xmas Party (Marsh's biz) over at the Headquarters at Eddie V's...fun time and the food was wonderful...a repeater...hmmm...I didn't look at the price...that may alter me going back...frugal I am...
