Season for Unrest

Geez...I hate leading with that...but it's true...if you look at all the news sources...and I'm not just talking on the web net...on the pixels, too...and in the printed pages of YOUR local newspaper...most everything is of UNREST...whether it be the killers, the Chicago Cop, the condemnation of the Donald's boast, the Swiss surrounding the Paris killers, and on and on...

I will go way from that and give you some nice stuff...to brighten your day...in lieu of the other...kind of like what the CBS show of "Sunday Morning" does...you know, there are good people in this land, too...doing good things...and for the benefit of not only themselves, but us, too...right?...

Commercials...there you go...my fav is the the one about Peter Pan going back to his 1965 class reunion...makes me laugh every time...the one about the parents getting the kids out of bed on Xmas Day...as they jump up and down about their new Benz, I think it is, as the kids are drinking hot chocolate and shaking their heads...clever is the embattled Volkswagen Co...as they make out like their salespeople go out of their way...for their clients...ah ha...

The unrelenting class of the Prez wannabe, Bernie Sanders...say what you want, but he stays on course through all this hullabaloo that the Repubs are creating and wallowing in...he may not win, but you can't say he isn't a real gentleman...

Marsh has got me looking at the pixel channel of TCM...Turner Classic Movies...and we watched a gem...about Sinatra's Songs...live way back when...showed him through a lot of years...you know he'd be a 100 now?...wow...doesn't seem like that, huh...and then another..."Seven Days in May"...a 1964 flick about a potential coup of our Prez...dang, there were a lot of them movies, I never saw...good stuff...

What a wonderful segment about the latest DWTS winner, Bindi Irwin...who took her dancing pro, and legend already, Derek Hough, back to her homeland...Australia...and put him in her happy place...with the animals...it is a MUST see...

You want your morning starting out right?...it's hard to beat what Starbuck's puts out...their breakfast sandwiches are soooo good...and couple that with whatever you want for a hot cup of Joe...mine is the tall non fat white choc mocha, no whip...what's yours?...there are other companies out there, you may prefer a local one, or Peet's, or Seattle's Best, or up in the PNW, Dutch Bros...

I've said this before...but if you want the latest news...and I'm saying up to date...like right now...bad and good...it's on Twitter...of course, you have to set up who you are following to get the info...take some time and do it...you'll thank me later...

We have fog, not smog this am...kind of cool...we are so fortunate to live in an area that gets such good weather...well, we did move here...buy it...it is an investment, kids...you know what I am saying...

The biggest surprise of the NBA season?...there are some good story lines...of course, the undefeated Warriors...the unbelievable scoring of GS's Curry...the continued solid coaching of Pop at SA...however, the one that sticks out the most?...the rookie drafted by the Knicks, the C Porzingis...who'd a thunk?...

Time to celebrate our son's birthday...get our teeth cleaned...and generally, just have a grand time in SB...all aboard!...

Greetings from a wintry mix in Central OR...still doing my daily snow dance for the mountains, forecast looking good. As for politics, thankful for the Great Muhammad Ali...a true hero, standing for what is right.

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
