Justice?

Sometimes...I get it...sometimes I don't...the Atlanta judicial system...where the oft hated standardized  tests were altered by some educators...and tried to improve their district's scores...and thus stay in "good light"...of course, we are talking a minority area...and the judge...threw the book at them...but...7 years in prison?...in PRISON!...what?...he relented a bit later...said he thought that his judgment was too severe...reduced it to THREE YEARS!...and he was videoed as being belligerent...and he is NOT a minority...sometimes I can see the people revolting...there must be other methods of penalty, I would think...

Why is there so much racial tension going on now?...is it only with the way we are policed?...it appears...I am saying appears...that there is a revisiting to the 60's...where the minorities are not going to take it...first riots...then calmer heads prevail...and now peaceful demonstrations...the walks of united folk...that are always on the border of boiling over...and the police are waiting...it is a scary time for many...St Louis, Baltimore, NYC, and Philly...are all in the "fed up" mode...where are you on this?...

This just out of Baltimore...the kid who was found dead in the police paddy wagon...the police have been charged with homicide...6 of them...please please please...let's hope that the judicial system works this time...

Here's a take...my friend threw this out...you are black...you have been stopped for a possible traffic violation...you have done nothing wrong...and there is major fear that there may be profiling in the neighborhood...and you panic...if you stay, you may be beaten...that is the rumor out there...and rather than stay put...you bolt...and the police shoot...hmmm...is this not going on?...

I'm sickened by all of this...

OK, the much lighter stuff...

The NFL Draft...by the way, is this not a racially blind selection process?...makes no difference the color of your skin...I digress...the top 2 picks were QB's...and the projected trade of the number 2 pick, Mariota, never materialized...and oh by the way...wouldn't you think the Commissioner could at least get the name right?...foo...the Carson Bolts did a great job of picking...getting the top RB in my opinion...a kid out of Wisconsin, Melvin Gordon...great fit...and great need...back to the fruitless trade bait of the Eagles for Mariota...they supposedly offered the moon and the planet of Jupiter...and the Titans turned it down...they wanted him....I say, way cool...

I can not figure out the SA/Clips series...figured it was a done and done game...that the Spurs would wrap it up and move on...nope...the Clip Joint won in Texas and forced a game 7 in LA...these are great games, kids...Saturday...and...I have zero thoughts about the who the winner may be...

Kentucky Derby...manana...the horse that will be the fav...American Pharaoh...will be out of the 17th stall in the gate...which has produced no winners...EVER!...as if that really has a bearing on the outcome...there has to be a 1st time, right?...look for a closer to get it...I'm still feeling Dortmund...or....???...

BYU has already signed on for a BOWL GAME for next season...if eligible...what?...this whole system is so bogus...$$$...

Lydia Ko, the best player in the LPGA is donating all her winnings to the people in need in Nepal...she is NOT from there...huge gesture...it's too bad, as she is in jeopardy of not making the cut...like the 1st time forever...still, a class act...

We are going to the Pads/Rockies game this eve...no news about any player movement thus far...keep watching for it...and the guy going for us, Kennedy, got bombed last time out...am I optimistic or pessimistic?...well, I think you can guess...

The fight...Mayweather and Pacquiao..."hope...for the non-wife beater to win"...what?...that's the sentiment in the Trib today by the writer Calkins...I have no clue to the background...and I don't care who wins...

Food...then the bills...didn't I just do that?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
