Happy Thanksgiving

To all of you, who follow this blog...a very Happy Thanksgiving...

But, is it?...

Seems to me that we take for granted what has improved so much...

And yet return to chaos as quickly as in the past...

The color of our skin should have little barrier on who we are...

Or what we believe...

It's inward that shows our substance...

A man's or woman's opinion should be theirs to share...

If they choose...

And respect for one another should never fade nor die...

But somehow that gets lost in times of crisis...

And some begets to old time name calling...

I shiver at the racial lines that have emerged in Missouri...

Which brings back the worst of times in this country...

That I lived through in my youth...

Wake up people, and see what you have...

It's a whole lot better than many of you are expressing...

Talk more about what is said, rather than what the color of the skin...
