The Pix
The NBA is an elongated series of repeated games...where the hoopdom is really way too long...way too long...however, it is all about the money, right?...and my, how the league makes just that!...I digress...the playoffs do carry a lot of TV coverage...and we watch....in droves...here are my pix...and feel real strongly about them...
The best series?...the Clips and the Warriors...basically a tossup...until the big guy went down for GS...and the inside game of Blake Griffin will be the diff...however...Coach Doc has to be creative with the post...as C Dr Dunk has the worst FT % in the entire league...and the GS coach will use the hack a shaq...bewilders me how a guy can be that bad from the line...try underhand...something...will go 6...take it to the bank...
Houston and PDX...just may be a sweep...for the Rockets...inept defensive coaching is the diff...ha ha...as some of the Houston blokes play none themselves...should be an offensive show of fun proportions...Houston in 5...
San Anton and Dallas...battle of Texas...both rather old teams and players...surprisingly, both teams coached well...look for the Spurs to survive, in a much closer match than people are thinking...in 7....
OKC and Memphis...if the Grizzles can slow it way down, they have a chance...as most pundits have the Sonics, er, Thunder winning the west...not so fast my friends...they will have a big hurdle here...which they will get over....maybe 6...
OK, duh...I picked the top 4...ha ha...big deal...
In the east...
Miami, Indiana (don't listen to the downers), Brooklyn, and Chicago...easily...
The hype over the Bull's Noah....what?...average player...I guess the scribes have to write about something...but really?...there are much better players out there...much better...
Padres...great pitching from Tyson Ross...and SD won game number 1 against SF...big win...I mean BIG WIN!...timely pinch hit dinger from Grandal...don't hold your breath as the embattled Stults is going for us today...has been hit hard...ah hem, Headley is out of the lineup....and for some reason we play better...duh...
To the grocery store we go...

Alas, the Warriors won game one in LA...highly questionable stuff from referee number 65...I'm always worried about the money bet on these games...he made some quick calls on Griffin...and then in the last 24 seconds called no foul on a huge reach in and the Clips lost the ball...I'm just saying...never, ever bet on the NBA...after I told you to go to Vegas and bet my pix...ha ha....
