I may be preaching to the choir...but why is the killer of John Lennon still living?...and up for parole again...he was denied for the 7th time or so...what a waste of time and money...and do you really think the prison system rehabs people?...if that is real, then any prisoner should be let loose after his or her time of incarceration...sure, it depends on what happened...

We all learn stuff...as I have said many times before...the Electoral College is an old, antiquated system to elect our Prez...and the vote is mostly equalized to the population of the states...and most of the states have winner take all provisions...2 do not...and... if there is not at least 270 out of 538 possible votes garnered....the vote for Prez then goes to the House of Representatives...happened twice in our history...this method was established to "protect" the country by qualified voters...

Prince Harry apparently has a misnomer of a nickname...can't see a bit of hair on him...the oh so embarrassing pix of him in Vegas...well, what happens doesn't always stay in....well, you know...the Brits are up in arms...and, they are just as mad at his handlers...ha ha!...like sure, they can control this fun seeking lad...needs a dog collar I guess...

Talk about embarrassing...Taylor Swift gets the boot at a Kennedy wedding...the mother of the bride (?) met her at the door and asked her to go...that she would take the focus away from the bride if Ms. Swift was in attendance...and, she went in anyway...there's a storm brewing in the Northeast, huh...I can hear a song about this happening soon...

I was told that I talk way too negatively about the Padres...not so, I say...I have been down on the old regimes of management...but...this group has done wonderfully....and with the new owners, I am very optimistic...really...enough to get season tix again?...naw, Marsh just isn't in to it...by the way, SD completed the sweep of the Bucs...

Betting line stuff...the Giants, fresh off of sweeping the Dodgers in LA, are home team dogs to Atlanta...what?...and in the 1st week of NCAA football...and you can draw your own conclusions...Mich St favored over Boise St, Udub by 14 1/2 over SDSU, Penn St over Ohio, Oregon by 35 1/2 over Arkansas St....what?

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
